Adjudging from last year's admission, your chances of getting medicine with this five olevel results is very low, albeit with a high jamb score..But,if the rest of your olevel subjects results are filled with distinctions, I would urge you to pick OAU because it might eventually favour you.But be ready to cope with the erratic calendar of OAU.

of course you can. What that meant is after matriculating in a dept in a university you can't reapply to that university till your done with the program matriculated for. I think it's only UI I know if that insists on that

Ain't got nothing to say... I get it. We started lectures on 18 Nov 2015 and ended on 4th June 2016. During this period (6 months) we covered Introduction to Anatomy, upper limb, lower limb, thorax, abdomen, pelvis and perineum, embryology and histology. Altogether with physiology n biochemistry incourses. Exams started on 6th July 2016. Seems like our school faster than yours sef... undecided

PS. Before you crucify me, I'm a 300 level BDS student. I know what I'm talking about.
hello, how are you? Hope you weren't affected?

In OAU, the rule doesn't hold water. I'd been matriculated into a course b4 in oau b4 I got matriculated into medicine in same oau

finally after reading from page 0-417( which is the current page) , gained loads of knowledge from people's experiences and Dr. lomaxx's past msgs...well I can say a thread like this is what we need for a better future , where we exchange, give and share positive ideas , opinions and encourage those who are yet to achieve their aim ..to cut the long story short , I got admitted for MBBS in oau last year (still yet to resume tho , hoping to do so soonest)..well I can say I didn't struggle much all thanks to God cos reading people's experiences has given me a reason to be forever grateful. And to all those who are yet to be admitted I pray to God grants our heart desire and let's be more shrewd in planning our admission, to avoid failure and making the same mistake .. ..to those who are still in med sch ..u guys are our source of inspiration ..u guys should keep the flag flying high and I pray that God guides us all till the end of time

#TEAM MBBS
#FOREVER GROWING

I tap your blessings.
I pray to gain admission this year, I'm really tired of staying at home.

Congratulations dear, be studious and may God help you.

Wow! You got an amazing score, too bad you weren't admitted.

Try Uniuyo, they use just jamb score to admit. Though it's not a popular uni but it's still good.

see when it even comes to landmark achievement unnth has a better acheivement than uch. unnth has done about 108 open heart surgery in 2 years and is the cardiothoracic centre in west Africa (d only place where u uwould see a centre for Africa) but uch(ui) is celebrating 3-6 in 3months .the truth is just DAT if u score high in jamb go for unn but low score unibadan cos dey don't use jamb score.go to their teaching hospital sites and see for urself u would see that unnth has also seperated Siamese twins but if u look at uch own u would be looking for a remarkable achievement .unn has the fastest medical skull in the country(less than 6years but close to. it) thats y the stress is just much imagine upper limb thorax and abdomen in 4 months .all those western skulls are just overhyped imagine rubbish luth without light is ranked as one of the best.any tin dey do will be publicized but if its ours it won't (_when unn was the best in webometrics last year it was not fixed in my school.com.ng an nairaland only newspapers carried it) I remember vividly when unibafan was d best every where carried it.imagine nairaland did not give unn credit for bennet omalu s achievement but ui will claim wile shoyinka achievement that went to university abroad again.
Shoo....Rubbish Lagos university Teaching Hospital(LUTH)........I throw away salute for you oo. I smell Tribalism sha.....
