Right when we should be hearing about how they plan to deal with Irabor and the murderous pilot, they're taking group photos.

The Nigerian Airforce has been killing civilians in most of their major operations. They killed civilians in Ikorodu, they've killed civilians in Bornu.

It's unfortunate, but usually these civilians are close to the theater of operations, and since we use dilapidated aircrafts, precision is not that great.

But what I find interesting is that an IDP camp that is in a safe zone, that is not within close proximity to a theater of war, and whose coordinates are known by the same military can be mistakenly bombed.

Even if the pilot got wrong co-ordinates, can he seriously say he sped into a safe zone, noticed hundreds of tents (which should signify an IDP; as tents are exclusively used by IDPs in the NE), and he still went ahead to drop not one or two, but multiple bombs. Why was he bloody trained then?

We should scrap all our alpha jets if our pilots cannot identify an IDP camp in a safe zone, and then use human cognition to recognize that the camp could be a false positive.

That pilot should be hanged. We don't want any paparazzi. Someone must be held responsible. The pilot and Irabor that signed off on the mission without confirming the coordinates should be tried by a court-martial. Then whoever signed off on the Intelligence tip-off in the NIA or NA should be moved to a desk-job permanently.

52 Nigerians including Aid workers cannot die in Nigeria, killed by people sworn to protect them, in a statistically impossible circumstance, and no one takes the fall. That is VERY WRONG and UNACCEPTABLE.

My concern is that this kind of mistake is one of such, which can induce developed countries (e.g. US) to refuse selling jets or gunships to Nigeria, on the reason that "Nigerian Airforce is armature" or "incompetent".

Nigeria should come out clean on this.

The Nigeria nation is a difficult one to understand.

We have leaders who are hell bent milking us to bones.
The so called accidental killings of the Internal Displaced Persons could be well schemed out to reduce the numbers of people in the various camps so that the various foreign aids coming from Western countries would be enough to share .

The worst Army Chief. He has killed more civilians than Bokoharam within 18 months. is it IPOB, Shiites, and the latest one of about 150 women and children? Eye service army chief.

Did the bomb blast in borno government house? Why the picture posing and snapping? I expect this polithieficians should go straight to the IDP camp in Rann, if possible sleep there for few nights so the people there will know government care about them.

if not for Nepotism by the old man @ Aso Rock, Buratai is not qualified to even head a Barack. Maybe his first experience of war, so he's overzealous and trying to please the slim dude at the helm.

I dont think it is buratai or the army's fault. More between the intel, theater commander or the Air Force fault.
