@Damilare. I'll give you some unsolicited advice
Count your losses. What can the agent possibly do for you? Create a fake profile? Go for your interview guarantee you a visa? The answer to the last two is No. So in reality , the agent will do nada for you.
Going forward. We only offer legit advice herem even if it wasn't the right thing to do; vos read this thread and insha Allah, nobody here will add san'san' to the bad name Nigerians already have. Last last, good advice is good and I'm mighty proud of the tonnes of testimonies we get hereon.
A bit further; brother read the times. This is the wrongest time (not that any time is better) to hustle. Trump isn't smiling. The US isn't smiling to illegals now. Don't waste your moneym

Married too but he didn't fill any of this for me o. In my occupation he wrote only student and filled single for me.purpose is to attend brother's wedding february ending. I didn't want to contradict the form when the vo asked if I was married or had kids. It was my 1st application. Now, I'd love to reapply again but what would my purpose be? Should I still go for the feb ending wedding? Should I apply again as single though engaged cos it would have been to soon to be married?and as graduate student again ?since my job status wasn't filled in d last application?please house help a distressed sis out![/quote

The deed is done forget the agent and move on. As to re-applying the rule is to wait 90 days (3 months) before re-applying. anytime earlier than 90 days is auto-rejection.

As for your info that the agent messed up with. I believe going forward the truth can set you free. Let all your details be correct and true. And please do it yourself this but BUT REMEMBER NOT BEFORE 90 days

ALso , someone explained to me that if I succeed in the interview .I will be given a 2yrs visa but at the POE , I will be given 6months ..meaning I should exit on or before 6months back to my country, and my failure to do so , I have automatically turn to an illegal immigrant ...I want to know if that's true ? This really baffles me
Bros you should ask the POE question when you have the visa as for the rest it's between you and your agent.. N200K cannot waste ooo
Re: USA Visit Visa Part 2 by Ramj: 9:48pm On Feb 07, 2017
since you are going for a conference, under US contact, fill in the conference organizer details under organisation name and enter their address email and phone number. This should be on your conference letter.

One step at a time. Get the visa first, then POE will follow.
Say the truth during the visa interview, even if visa is not issued now it will be issued one day. You will always remember your information and remember consistency is important.
All the best.

We have read peoples experiences here, where the Vo asked to wait 90 days after an application is denied. Forget about the wedding for now and you were asked by the vo if you were married or single, you answered single. This singular act has shifted the punnisment for misrepresentation from the agent to you, it would have been better if you corrected it at that point, all your answers were recorded.

Whats with the POE scare these days its annoying to say the least. If you got your visa and have nothing to hide why fear POE, key thing is dont raise any red flag at the primary, or you will be sent to secondary. There anything and everything will or might be checked.

please house does canadian embassy shares applicant's information with american embassy? I've got someone who has applied for student visa once into canada couple of years ago and waz denied. Now he is trying to apply for an american visa. He is worried the american embassy would know he's once denied a canadian visa. please i need some light in this dark issue. Thanks

America and Canada are two different countries. If you've been following this thread since, there are people that have been denied American visa multiple times and still end up getting the visa eventually. So your friend can go ahead and submit his visa application truthfully.

Hello house, please advise needed. I want to apply for a USA visa alongside my husband and baby. I work with one of the notable banks in the country while my husband is a regional sales man for a known commercial company. I also have an aunt in the state who is getting married soon.

Do I apply under my aunty who is a green card holder, with invitation to attend her wedding(which I know I would be unable to make because the wedding is before my annual leave)
Or I apply clearly for a vacation in the US with an introduction letter from the bank introducing me and my family.

Which will give me a preferred chance of getting a 2yrs multi entry visa so I can travel when convent for me within the 2yrs.

Also if I apply for vacation do I need to state I would be staying with my aunt during the period because she is willing to give me a letter to the consulate saying I will be staying without during my vacation but she is not willing to state her house address in the letter, she will just say she would accommodate us while in the US and provide her mailing address and phone no if they require further info from her.

Or we should just apply for annual vacation with the introduction letter from the bank without involving I will be staying with my aunt.

Please house, kindly advise because I fear getting a 3month visa if I just apply for the purpose of her wedding in which I can't travel within the 3month time frame.

This will be my first application. Do advise please, Thank you.

@LadyTomi
Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. If you want something, invest a bit of hardwork- it ALWAYS pays. In this case, the hardwork os research. Go thru this thread to get a basic understanding of the process.
You are concentrating on purpose of trip. That , however is secondary to ties. If you have ties according to the vo's assesment then any purpose u choose is ok. I can't speak about your ties, I'm not a vo. But I'll ask you to self evaluate. Read the thread, then mentally weigh yourself. If u believe you are qualified for a visa, then pick the purpose that is the truth and fill it. Are you going for a wedding? Say so. Are you going for a vacation? Say so. Don't fill wjat you think will give u a better chance.
The truth gives you the best chance
Then when you read, you will also see tht your belief about 3 month visa is ill concieved. Visas are usually 2 years

First of all, neither a letter of invitation nor a letter of introduction is a requirement for the visa. We don't care about them and we won't even bother to look at them... I don't know how many times I have said this.

If you don't plan to go for the wedding, then why say that? Even if you get the visa today it could raise suspicions down the road as to why you didn't travel as planned.

Good morning house, see what I saw online
can someone explain please

The United States President, Donald Trump has signed an executive order to allow all Nigeria nationals travel to the United States without visas.
The new order, serving as a change in visa policy for Nigerians traveling to the United States, would permit them stay in the U.S for a maximum period of 180 days for Tourism or Business purposes only. Stay over 180 days would therefore require a visa.
Trump says this measure is to strengthen trade between the United States and Nigeria.
However, Nigerians who hold dual nationality will be banned from entering the United States if their other passport is from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen — the seven Muslim-majority countries “of concern”.
It has emerged that trade and bilateral visa deals have been discussed by Trump and Nigerian Diplomats in the States.
A source at the White House has hinted that Trump may revoke Australia’s opportunity of traveling to the United States without visas after cancelling all trade deals with the country.
Allowing Nigerians to the United States freely is not the only order signed into force by Trump since assuming office. He has signed five new executive orders – including one to expedite environmental review and approval of high-priority infrastructure projects.

As it has already been stated - this is entirely false. You should check the U.S. Embassy webpage for the most current and accurate information.
