Reason is simple. Nigerians arent ready for any change yet, but chains: that is what befits the dog in us. We need to suffer the more until we all can stand and speak with one voice that mediocrity in govenrance is a completely unacceptable.

I'd have said leave trash for lawma but I'd have to ask if bayelsa state has it's equivalent first... Nonsense and condiments!

The lawmakers in his state just approved the plan of the state government to get a loan of 3billion Naira for the purchase of official cars for some key officers and this clown is yet to talk about it.

So no other source of dollars? If them say Nigeria is solely dependent on the SS, you will argue to high heavens.

You cannot take away the fact that the ss supports the country massively... I'm just saying a certain senator should address the fact that a state that has massive resources and low population has not been able to pay salaries.. Or do they pay salaries in dollars too??

You have a point but apc will not allow any suggestion from him because he is pdp thus why he's always on twitter. See the case on ground now where pdp are complaining that none of their party member are allowed to visit the president.

Unfortunately for us that is how naija politics is.

I tell you sir. Just take a look at the abysmal level things have degenerated to and yet Nigerians still pretend as if all is well. Nigerians are the weakest people on earth, just good at whining, complaining, smiling and suffering

Buhari has finished this country,

What amazes me is that a right thinking person still stands with buhari; May the persons life and business be like
buhari govt., sarki say A big amen to this.

They say it was caused by 16 years PDP misrule / GEJ govt., then I ask who caused 1984 recession during buhari regime as a military head of state

Buhari is very dull in thinking. He is a revengeful fulani bloody thisty bigot .

I spit on this govt.

Thank you for the waste of space.

If you could read, or Google, you can search for the exchange rates since 1960 and IF you can show me that the Naira ALWAYS held steady and only depreciated during the recessions of 1984 and 2016, then I would bless you with 100K to stimulate you to think deeper.

It's a crazy leadership in Nigeria. We are all told to be praying for our leaders but at this point, I have to choose to pray for myself and family because the leaders you are praying for are resistant to turnaround. It is like trying to stop a man from drinking while he is still in the bar. First you bring him out from the bar before stopping him from drinking. Until our leaders realize that the country is in recession and something positive has to be done, we need to review what we will be praying for on their heads.

the president is clueless, have no idea how to run/control the economy. no economic team in place.
I wonder if PMB would want to be remembered for what is happening in Nigeria today.

But the zombies no get sense

This is what baffles me

Zombies are dying of hunger

They can't send their children to school

They can't eat 3 square meal

They can't buy fuel

They can feel the dying economy

They can't buy a cup of garri

But they are still strongly supporting Buhari and they are still shouting Sai Baba

Abeg, who knows the native doctor who prepared that juju for Buhari ??

This is why i gave up on Nigerians, we don't care about hunger or the condition of the economy because the President is from our region or tribe

But the truth is that those celebration of Buhari you are hearing abi seeing today are those who have taking advantage of Buhari's old age, dullness, incompetence. Buhari will never see those who are happy celebrating him are his and our greatest enemies. He thinks that all those who have hyjacked his government, singing and dance in his support are the real party men. Those who are crying, according to Buhari are dpd chieftains and not even the masses. So tell me if Buhari continues for the next two years, we will all die completely. Imagine the peace and reduced tension while he is away and Osibanjo taking over, running the affairs of the country. I can tell you that if Buhari was in town or country when the ''hardship rallies took place, many people would have died. That is Buhari for you. The records are there. To me Osubanjo should continue for some time to allow for the continues reduction of tension in the country. Tufiakwa
just three days ago, some northners were talking in their general meeting that even if Buhari refuses to buy form in 2019, they will organise themselves and either buy for or force him to buy form and that his government is the best. These are the exact hyjackers who are directly benefiting Buhari old age, his dullness, incompetence etc.

Simply. Either endure till 2019 and follow that with serious prayers and vote Buhari out or continue to organise rallies against this government.

Some brainless, tribalistic, sentimental and hypocritical fellows will still come here to pour insults on this wise post. Nigeria has witnessed recession for 2 periods since the history of the country - 1983 (Under Buhari) 2016 (Under Buhari). The country is facing the worst macroeconomic problems captured in economic literature.
If na only recession, he for good. What about the killings during Buhari time both before and now. If Buhari was around in the country when those recent hardship rallies took place, so many people would have killed. Tufiakwa

Dollar scarcity isn't caused by negative policies that shrunk the economy, drove FDIs away, right? Only crude oil led to dollar scarcity? You're very wrong, no matter how resourceful a nation is, without proper management, this is what you end up with.
Companies are relocating to Ghana and you're here seeing only crude oil as if that's all there is.
