Sometime I just feel like we guys are being insulted by some of this write up....How do u feel u can secure an adult that got mind of their own.. we are not kids that could not differentiate between right or wrong...Any man that wants to be promiscuous did that with a sound mind...he has the right to say no to the so called strange woman assuming he wanted to...escort him to the gate?...As in kindergarten school levels..

Some times we hear things like she SNATCHED him away from her....Haba!!! just call men inanimate object now...that would have been cool...only some animal or inanimate objects can be snatched....Not someone that got a mind of his own..

Any man that wants to leave you....If you like cook chicken marsala daily for him, clean..wash till your hands got pilled.....Call him honey,sweetie, sugar etc...If he want's to go, no matter how secured u feel you have done on him, he will and some will roll with some one you are better than in all ramification ...I feel so sad seeing ladies fighting over a man...if he puts you in a difficult position, why not confront him instead of the other woman..........You ladies should stop treating guys as if we are fifth graders...we are Adults

The hustle is real but the game has changed.
I respect @OPs' suggestions but they may not apply in this modern age where sensuality and sex are reaching far more girls from teenage to over 40.. Men have to contest with their focus for many beautiful, sexy, intelligent single and married females who are more desperate than you are and have more time on their hands than you do taking care of children and being a wife.

1: Learn to improve your knowledge each day - Read a profoundly life-impacting book other than the Bible or Quran, be abreast of important world-changing news, politically, economically and socially - The intensity of the attraction goes beyond just Sex.. a man will cheat on you but if he keeps going back to the same booty.. he has found something interesting enough for him to forget you for a while. IMPROVE YOUR MIND

2: Learn to talk properly and respectfully - A mature mind is demonstrated in mature speech. gather your thoughts and put them into what you say.. methodically and whimsically. Men identify not only with beauty but brains as well. It means you are better than a trophy-wife for him to admire like his car and things.. you are a relevant force in his eco-system. most women are comfortable with speaking in accusing tones rather than asking a honest question.. just as we can read in-between the lines, so can men.. but they need you to reinforce your statements before they are sure they know what you mean. questions like WHERE ARE YOU!? and others that elicit the same accusing feeling can be your downfall.. why not start with hey honey.. i was just reading about your company today; tell me what they said,is it true.? oh are you leaving the office soon? He might not be at the office but he is most likely to tell you where he is if you are not shouting WHERE ARE YOU!? He is not a kid anymore.

3: Eat right and Exercise right - It is true Women age poorly and far more quickly than Men. Add decades of creams and make-up and lack of exercise and free-food; you will realize that you look 5-8 times your real age and the race to cover that up with make-up and more make-up begins. STOP, RELAX and EXERCISE.. with enough exercise and a proper diet.. you will recover some of that sexiness your man use to come home for. STAY IN-SHAPE or GET-IN-SHAPE

4: Dress Chic and Modern - Yes It is good to look like a Pastor's wife or a career business-woman. unless you are constantly in board meetings and live in your office.. dress chic, if you have been doing your exercises and eating right.. you won't have to augment with Butt-pads and waist-trainers..look like that Intelligent, Sexy and young office chic every man is crushing on.. Yes.. I have heard it from a credible source.. Working Married/Single men talk about sex and who they crush on at the office every single day. It is a steamy Mind-sex parlor outside the home .. you do not need your man's attention to wander and stay outside- Be the chic he crushes on when he is not with you

Op I agreed that these is practicable by women only to those husband that has the consience , fear of God and respect himself. It depend on a man that never double date when he was single. because as I am I work in ibadan I leave alone . My wife leave in lagos. So I hv every opportunity to cheat but I respect my wife and her emotion. because she too is honest . Especially my son. If I do cheat on my wife it means i hv offendend my son. And fear of consiquence of this sin. Not that i am perfect or not temptable. But i run away from it. The little money i hv suld be enjoyed by my family. Not useless woman outside.

I felt there should be a point about avoiding what he dislikes, especially any particular ones he keeps drumming about. Plus, be a positive enzyme to his aspirations, not an inhibitor. Never, Never swear curses upon your husband. This is especially for women with deep cultural backgrounds, who at heat of marriage pressures, would not hesitate to go outside, and naked at mid-night to place curse on the man who paid her bride price and in some cases, who is father of her children.

On this same NL, women have created threads on how their husbands strayed, people kept trying so hard to put the blame on women.
A thread on Stella Damasus has people calling her HUSBAND SNATCHER...men were part of the name callers, meaning they also agreed they can be snatched.

That's what gives rise to this kind of topic.

Well said. But the question that begs the answer is that can the few number of men who don't cheat go round? I'm having a hard time believing that some men don't cheat, I really wish you are right about that but it's unbelievable considering how messed up the world has become. Visit badoo and you will be so amazed that majority of the subscribers are married men and the only thing they do is hunt for sex, affairs plus nude pictures.

The worst feeling in the world is knowing you were used and lied to by someone you trusted.......unfortunately cheating is a choice and not a mistake.........a good relationship keeps you safe and loved ..If there is trust.....you shouldn't need to play detective.

Someone who loves you would put themselves in a position to lose you .....or be looking for a void to fill ... and paying so much attention on what they are missing .....If they are unhappy they should leave.....holding on to someone who s already let you go is not a sign of strength.... what happens when you are done trying........

Thank you for this comment. These type of write-ups really annoy me. Another one that irritates my ear is men are polygamous in nature. All that is rubbish everybody has will power. How about men fighting for their wives? As if marriage is one-sided. Anybody that wants to cheat will cheat.
