According to the story shared by an online user,Aminu Adekunle pictured above was involved a ghastly accident with his car.His car which is the only source of his livelihood was crushed from behind by a fully loaded tanker.Before the accident,he was using the it for car hire services.He said he is totally broke and has cried out to the public to help him as police people are not helping out in the case.

Do you know, I always wonder how Insurance works in Nigeria.

Everyone brag about having complete vehicle documents of their vehicle including insurance but yet when someone hit their car, they get their boxing gloves out, call their cousins that is Assistant DPO or chairman Agbero committee

Why don't they file insurance claim?

They are ignorant. I don't exchange words with anyone in such a traffic situation. My insurer pays the claims. I only notify them, send pictures of the damage and get their consent to fix. I get my claims cheque in 3 days. But it has to be a reputable insurer not some of these funny ones.

It could also be they hold third party cover and the other party does not believe that he will be sorted out.

My thoughts.

I don't know how you people reason , because he survive ,so trailers should go and be crushing cars upandan without proper justice, that's his source of lively hood for Gods sake , that car is equivalent to his life, cos that's where he feed his family from, the trailer get insurance, he should go and repay this mans car abeg. You don't pray to loose your means of lively hood, if not, you will be considering suicide

I just dey read the comments here dey laugh. sometime last year, a trailer crushed my family car and nothing came out of it. the other cars that were affected didn't get full compensation. all those talks about insurance and no instance of trucks na luck.

PS: five people in this car all came out without a scratch!!!!
