hummmmmmmmmmmm

am speechless!

NEPA will really hate you !

and may soon bribe you with 'Ghana Must Come' bags to stop opening peoples eye to free sun energy.

imagine, see your 15.9 KwH x Nepa rate = (thousands of naira/day) x months or (years of going green) - (initial expenses)= grin grin grin grin

nice one & good savings!

me i still dey 3.4KWH/day Sha!

Same here bro...Anyday I get up to 3.5kwh on my 24v set up, I will be jumping for joy. I envy you @Dapsyra. U're really utilizing the power from the sun.

replace energy guzzling loads, there are ceiling fan of 5w-28w, standing fan of 14w-35w. Energy saving bulbs (led) of 5w-18w. For security lights I will advise flood light of 20w-30w. These can cut down your consumption to 3-4kwh at night
Pls where can someone get a fan that operates within 14w-35w. I have been looking for it. Currently my fan uses 70w.

If its standing fan, qasa rechargeable fan is good. That's what I use.

The NEPA people have been to my house three times in the last one year to investigate me. They thought I bypassed the meter.

The big savings of using solar energy is not from not using NEPA. Rather, it comes from not using generator. Imagine what the cost of having power 24/7 will be if you are using generator(s) to augment NEPA.

Pls this whole KWH is confusing to me, I know it's load in Watts X run time but when I have such an info above

20KWH battery & 7KWH consumption, how do I get to know what the load was & how long it lasted ?

Install a DC battery energy monitor between your battery and inverter, it will do all the hard work for you.

which of these ceiling fan & standing will you recommend?

I have this impression that rechargable fans aren't durable based on my starlite experience

But I advertised these fans on this forum, none showed interest. Any way qasa is good the price is between 20-30k. Consumption is 14w on low and 28w on high. Mine is 5w on low and 32w on high. Another model with remote control is 9w on low and 38w on high. Out of stock. Think of how many fans you will power with 100w if each is consuming 12w?. I see no reason for huge battery bank, solution is here already. Believe me a 3 bed room flat can use just 2pcs of 150ah batteries and 1500w solar panels with energy efficient devices and your batteries can do over 3yrs. Just imagine 4 ceiling fans consuming 15w each, TV 40' 30w, led bulbs 8pcs 5w each, fridge 120w 8am-4pm daily. With this your night consumption will never exceed 1800kwh which can be replenished by the array before 11am, the rest goes to the fridge and float your batteries before 3pm. Sounds interesting right? Now the real breakdown of the energy efficient devices: TV 40' 400k, fridge 200k, ceiling fan 30k, led bulbs bright ones N1500. Finish the calculation. I don try

I was using qasa 56' but the 20w consumption on mid was too high for me and it doesn't push air the way I wanted so I had to change it to something better 13w on mid air is awesome

Ceiling or Standing? 13w on mid is good. Am working towards changing my fans, all 6 of them. So am researching for something very efficient.

A client of ours has 10 W LED flood lights and they are very effective. Blinding. I have two of them useless during the day and powerful at night. The area they focus on, lights up like day light

You are free to always explore as chillers are cheaper than inverter compressor 1hp Aircons.. I have used Scanfrost chillers(170w max consumption & uses 20-30L water reservoir for chilling) in most of my installations and they have been working real good & Scanfrost also provides good customer service ...

500w is at the high side, I saw one on net with 200w/24v dc compressor. Shipping it to Nigeria is the issue cos they are heavy

chillers...how do these work?

you still need review from costumers bros?Well I stalled few for costumers but I can give a better review than my costumers cos I currently use 2pcs. I have used it for 5 months now. Fan works for 18 hrs every day, Monday to Friday and from Friday evening to Monday morning except 3 hrs break on Sunday morning for service. The issues with the fan is 1. Is a dc fan meaning the motor is dc, (adapter is needed) your existing connection will not work with it. You need to do a fresh wiring to get it work. 2. If fan was running and light goes off and on you must start the fan again. 3. Fan consumes around 35w at highest. These are the issues with the fan. The interesting part is the speed of number 2&3 is awesome, you don't need number 5. It also has a remote control, meaning you can power it anywhere around the room even from your bed

My understanding about swamp coolers or chillers is that they don't work very well in areas with high humidity. An AC removes humidity, this adds it. How do you address the issue with mold that comes with the high humidity? I have a genuine interest please don't see this as an attack. I am buying an AC for the office this week. Would explore this option if I get a good response from you.
