I'd show this to her. Thanks

Sir there is always a first time! this only helps to guide and make one do things appropriately. The first time I and my siblings were refused France Schengel visa, I was called on the phone by the Consular who apologized grin and asked that I come to the embassy with my passport and that of my sister, I sent my sister there our visa were issued less that 10mins when she got there.

So tell your wife not to hurt anymore, its one of those things. As someone here mentioned, just do things the right way and you will get the desired result.

In addition, you can include in your letter to the embassy that you wife is hurting as a result of the refusal hence her decision not to reapply alone with you, as she has never been refused visa and this refusal came as a big blow to her history of visa application.

Am very optimistic that if you do things right this time you will get the visa, you wife may even be called to come for hers even though she didnt apply.

All the best.

Yep, so at that 'last time', we were going to be refused, we contacted our contact person in our destination who went to complain at their ministry of foreign affairs. They called the ambassador who summoned us to Abuja on a public holiday, issued the visas in my presence and forget to collect visa fee. It was when I was asking for receipt of a fee I was yet to pay that he remembered I had not paid. I had to wait till the next day for banks to open so I could pay the visa fees. So I was not really denied that visa but I was going to be denied if I had not taken the steps I took.

#Synchrony.... The first time, and yet there was a last time? Anyways, this is Canada! Get your acts right, leave no stone unturned "underratingly" in your next application. Regards

A friend and his family just got their visa approved.
It took exactly 2 months for online application in Abuja.

They submitted the below

Hotel booking
Flight booking
Travel history (attached all previous visas and passports) to France USA UK and Dubai
Bank statement of 4m for family of 4
Marriage certificate
In the letter of explanation he added his employers reference letter, employment letters, promotion letters. Here he also added landed property documents

I think that's all. I know because I helped him do the scanning and attaching to his profile (he is not very friendly with the computer grin)

He was nonchalant with his application. Hr didn't add travel itinerary, children's birth certificates. I guess his documents were sufficient enough

Please I sent you a message. I will like to talk to you please.

It is like you guys have psychic powers to know when you were going to be refused without being actually refused yet. You can astral travel into the future and see their intentions. This is a Waaaawuuuu moment , so tey they nearly sacked a whole ambassador! Dem go fear fear.

God is great. His Mercy endures forever. His love is eternal. His Grace is always sufficient for us. I will praise you Lord all day long. My mouth will tell of your righteousness. Let every drop of my blood circulate for You!
My people, I am too happy ooo..
I applied the second time for a visitor visa on the 20th of February for a conference starting next week. I sent multiple mails to the embassy asking them to show me mercy and expedite my visa application because I had school exams early February. Yesterday, I got a mail that my passport is ready for collection. Less than 15days!!! I summoned courage and went today to pick it up and smiling at me was my visa oooo. 3 months multiple entry. Please ooo. Can I change naira at the airport at Travelex?? What is the exchange rate? I may be leaving tomorrow or next by God's grace..

Hello house grin
Please how do I go about flight itinerary - I mean the provisional airline booking. Been searching for a while now, and I still don't understand.
Do I book a flight, pay and then cancel; or contact a flight booking agency?
I've also checked for reservation options for some airlines but it seems they all require that you pay.

Good day everyone, wanna ask a question. My friend applied for a visiting visa with her husband who is the main applicate. They applied for their visiting visa in February . But no response yet. She plans to resign in May because she has no time to take care of her children. She's a banker. Her fears are if she resigns in May will it affect her application or will she get a response before May. Or will the Canada VO contact her bank. They did paper route. Thanks
Well, your friend should just pray for God's favour in the sight of the VO. They may not contact her employer during assessment by the VO assigned to her case especially, if he/she's convinced beyond doubts about her application. So far, CIC hasn't contacted us on our sales personnel and technician issued canada visa previously. The technician was a first time applicant to canada, but the other guy don dey go for sales training before. Rather, they contacted our manufacturer by email in canada, confirming their visit. Generally, applicants experiences and cases differ. Different strokes for different folks. Some could say they've contacted their employers in the past while some others could say there's nothing like that. Here in this thread, I was following an applicant's case very closely. He said the CIC noted a mistake in his application and contacted him for clarification. I think he mistakenly ticked 'NO' where he was supposed to answer a YES when asked whether he's been refused visa before or not. The VO assigned to him must be very lenient because dem dey craze for that place. Another VO could just refuse him straightaway based on that because that's tantamount to false declaration. My advice is, she should be positive-minded and hope for the best
