I don't think it can be notarized without date.
However the document is valid for 90 days. It is better you do it very close to the day you leave so that it will still be valid at the time you will use it.

Thank u, atleast I know I can do it b4 traveling.

Thank u 4 ur response,i wanted to be sure I can get it notarized b4 I travel.

Cuteaidomo:
I guess this depends on the state where you are having ur baby or requesting for the passport. Some states insist on the notarized one from the embassy, others don't.

quote author=ashedzi post=54770068]Good Day all, pls from previous parts, Mummies here notarized their forms(without date on it) right from 9ja b4 going on their Missionary journey for those that DH won't be around when baby comes and some states accepted it. Is this still acceptable? Or I would have to wait for baby's arrival then DH books an appointment @ the Embassy and he sent to me thereafter??

Gdmorning please does any one know about the current travel restrictions for pregnant women flying emirates? I am seeing 36 weeks on the site but I heard dey r now insisting on 32 weeks. Please does any one have info on dat?
Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by ojceskills(m): 9:00am On Mar 21, 2017
Well, ideally you shouldn't be able to notarize a document before the baby is born but then it happens...However, you will not be able to get it done before the birth of your baby if you plan on doing it at the US embassy as the baby's birth-date and details must be captured on the form so if you want to travel with the document you will use alternative notary other than the US Embassy so you have to confirm if those are accepted in the State where you will be having your baby.

Secondly, If you are travelling with the form already notarized here in Nigeria before the baby's birth, ensure you keep it out of sight from the officers at your POE.A friend of mine almost got into some trouble for having a notarized form with a blank date on it.....

Please ooo, stanbic just told us they have stopped selling pta. They say they stopped selling since Friday. Please, Is this a general THING?

Got pta from Gtbank on Friday. Applied on Thursday. And when I went to pick up on Friday there were people there who were applying and they said nothing about stopping it.

Good day everyone. Has anyone been successful at doing a VBAC in Houston area. I have done once in Virginia but can't seem to find Drs in Houston who are open to it especially considering I will be arriving at later stages of pregnancy. Kindly share your experience and info if you have been able to. Many thanks

Was planning on traveling latest 31st of March, but this Emirates new policy review means I will be traveling next week. I will be 32 weeks plus. POE would be Houston.

I called Emirates office last month when this issue of 32 weeks came up. I just called them again now, the number of weeks for single uncomplicated is 36 weeks. All you need is your fit to fly and signed medical certificate from their website. Please let's always confirm. So many people have bought tickets based on the 36 weeks. Before person go enter high jump.

@Dxbconnection: Same here. I have just called them as well. From 29 -36 weeks, you need a medical certificate from a doctor. Some of us will go into panic mode o !!!

Hello house, I had my LO last week Wednesday at Medical centre, toms river NJ. Still trying to gather my strength back and trying to have a grasp of breastfeeding as a first time mum. I'm so thankful for all the useful info I got on this forum. God bless you all.

Hello all
Just want to thank you all for the tips i read on here.I want to share i had a successful interview today at the U.S. Consulate after declaring i was going to birth in Houston and to the glory of God was granted my visa
I don't know if anyone remembers my story from the first time i applied for visa and said would like to spend 40days on tourist visa just in feb last month but was denied?I posted my transcript.
Well i applied for a tourist visa then to go for a graduation being pregnant but concealed nicely in a big dress though wasn't asked if i was and didn't declare even though truthfully i wanted to travel for the purpose of birth.I was given an almighty blue rejection slip lmao.
So barely a month later i decided to apply again but sought advise here first about the possibility of applying to go give birth and what my chances were though everyone who commented after i posted the transcript adviced me not to bother, telling me i would definitely get a no.That i should have my LO here wait a year b4 reapplying, others said it would seem desperate others said its a hopeless case and truly my case was a mess.
Regardless,i was convinced in my heart to give it another go.This time applied for a medical visa ,armed with correspondence with doctor plus her letter of acceptance hubby and i already made a small deposit for doctor's fee and went there for interview and 2min later came my white paper.
It was only God because i had truly just 2.8M naira in my account!yes o
They didn't ask for a single document!God showed himself to me today like he has never before!I'm still shaking even now.
This just goes to show if you're convinced in your heart about something especially when you believe God has directed you, follow through. He always sees you through

Congratulations dear. I am of the opinion that this US immigration policies are not same for everyone. What I mean is that, the fact I had this case and was treated this way does not mean that if someone else has a similar issue the same measure would be applied. Following your mind is equally as important as being truthful. Congrats

Congrats dear.

NOTE that people here are not VOs, Airline reps, CBP or anything related. Everyone is just sharing based on their personal experiences and those of friends/relatives (true or untrue). Most importantly, it's good to try your luck regardless. Go after what you want - no matter how difficult they might seem to others, your case is different.

People have used BI/B2 visas for childbirths and were able to renew successfully many times. In whatever case, notify the embassy of change of intention, be prepared for POE interviews, don't lie for any reason to the immigration officials and get your documents ready (including receipts).

I had an interesting encounter in Chicago POE few weeks ago, I will share later smiley
