When he has to contend with foriegn car manufacturers around lagos and cheap smuggled vehicles from cotonou through porous land borders,he has to create his market. do you plant tomato in northern/south west nigeria where competition is high and price z low to sell and still bring to ss/se region or south east/south south where demand z high and less competition from other farmers

As for me i think the location isn't a factor to determine his success or failure but his marketing strategies.

Innonson should take advertising more serious because many are not aware of the brand and the cars are so expensive which is major concern too.

You said people are not yet convinced about the reliability and safety of the brand which was the reason i said the brand is expensive.

An average Nigerian will rather spend the same amount on tokumbo because he or she is convinced of the brand.

Innonson should make their cars a bit affordable for Nigerians to be attracted to buy and they should advertise their products to the public.

Innonson should also forget about competing with other brands for now rather they should concerntrate on attracting Nigerians to buy their cars and ensure its durable, reliable and safe for us.

Love Toyota in the west....at least spare parts full everywhere

I understand your point from the beginning. But all he needs is gross marketing and standard products. Having the plant anywhere wouldn't be an issue

Remember this is business too. He needs incentives and favors and other states farther from lagos will give him that.

Nigerian breweries took their largest plant to Enugu because of favors and incentives too. It hasn't stopped them from making large sales

Only problem is that many women may lose their husbands posted to work in those factories to Akwa Ibom women. They know how to 'handuru' any man and you will forget about going back home.
