4)CAC-as been around for a long time.it also appeals to the orthodox minded christians.
5)Jehovah witness-their aggressive proselytization and rejection of the trinity is albeit silently adding people to them

The churches with high number of business centers a.k.a parishes are majorly located or saturated down South. They are only concerned in building more churches in a street that is already saturated with 7 to 10 churches. You wonder if it is the same christian god the churches on this street worship.

To them it's a competition of who has the highest number of business centers/parishes or auditoriums down south. Meanwhile, up north in Borno, Kano, Bauchi e.t.c where there are suppose to take their evangelism to and market themselves aggresively they will have zero or little presence there.

Without a doubt and without blinking, its obviously the Roman Catholic Church. They also have d most in terms of population and ofcourse the most priests, deacons and student studying to become priest. Just travel to SS Peter and Paul Major Seminary and see for yourself. They also have at least 3 of such schools spread across Nigeria.

I only used 200 as a case study and not really the number. Av you a friend or relation who goes to Celestial church? Or rather approach a praish and request for order of service and see parishes listed at the back. The parishes you will see are under just one overseer and we have about 7 pastors who claim to be overseers in Cele and have thousands of parish-followers due to thirst for power and material wealth.

Ok let me believe cos i ve been in that same north. Besides what about outside Nigeria and the West Africa sub region? Jehovah's Witnesses are in 240 countries. You can google it or i refer u to www.jw.org

Point 5 noted. The witnesses dont make noise and that is why it seems they are not easily noticed but I tell u they are in 240 countries not just in a section of the country as some may boast

There's this small Street close to my house with 2 RCCG church. Opposite the street, just a stone throw is another RCCG church. I think they're competing, I really don't know but they're everywhere. There's an RCCG in every single Street no exaggeration.

Some of you guys don't understand the Topic, for those saying Catholic I think you are wrong. Catholic Church is most spread church in Nigeria you can find them in all the 774 local govt of Nigeria but that doesn't make them have the highest number of branches.

RCCG on the other hand can be spread across say 600 local govt in Nigeria but those 600 local govt have nothing less than 100 per local govt do the maths that makes about 60,000 RCCG but Catholic will probably have say 10 per local govt also do the maths that's just 7740 Catholic Churches.

Please ignore the figures just letting you know the statistics I have travelling around the country.

If you are talking about headquarters, The right comparison will be comparing Winners Chapel HQ in Warri to St Peter's Basilica in Rome. The Basilica took 100 years i.e a century. Thats just to tell you how enormous and massive it is. So dont even go down this route.

Let me tell you why it is RCCG.

One of the vision/mission statement of the church is to have a Parish in 5 minutes walking distance in developing countries of the world and 5 minutes driving distance in developed countries of the world.

To stress further, the first vision statement is to make heaven. To actualize this you need to bring the church closer to the people to hear the undiluted word of God without complaints of being not able to get to church because of transport fare. This has nothing to do with competition. Vision!

The question should be why are they not fizzling out?
I can tell you that the covenanted blessings attached to the obedience of this divine instruction has kept the church going.
You don't want to rule out some few human errors expressed when you visit any of these parishes. The church would be made perfect at Christ return.

Now it is pertinent to state that at the marriage supper of the lamb,no denomination would be recognized. Whichever church you attend now, don't ever see other bible believing denominations as being bereft of the right ideas to run the church. Some people had said this in the days of Pàul and Apollos. Apostle Paul corrected them.

CAN and PFN should do more as we can't afford to have a divided church.
You also have a part to play.

You are still mixing the words widely spread to the OP's assertion which talks about the highest number of branches or parishes...

I'm not been partisan being a celestian but Celestial church takes the lead when it comes to highest number of branches while I will agree that rccg is the most widely spread.

The Church with the most branches in Nigeria and even the world is the Blessed Catholic Church. when we say church,am not just talking about a one room apartment church. the catholic church definitely has the highest number of standard churches anywhere u go in Nigeria. East(their main base),south,west or north you would definitely find them in the remotest of villages.
