Please what's the condition?
Thanks

Renew before the 3days extended date after your current subscription expires. You initially gets half the data and the rest adds up after 30mins.

ncc must have given the directive. if your plan hasn't expired and you were previously on the normal data plans before they halved it, you can still use same 3.2 GB for 1k. Glo sent a message concerning that.

glo still wants life to be easy I swear. na ncc directives wan make life hard ni

God bless u for the bolded sentence.

But that has to do with IMEI tweaking and maybe your device is still new.

The promo is supposed to last 6months

What if I renew just before it expires, will it work?

Smile is good but limited plans.

ntel is rubbish

Spectranet is not encouraging

MTN is the best lte network

I don't do 3G again. (too slow for me, I prefer value for money than unreliable cheap networks

here in the ancient city of Benin where the king is truely king we hate Glo with passion because injured snail is faster than Glo.
and for those intending to subscribe to Glo because it is cheap be careful not to commit suicide after subscribing because if they frustrate you then you might commit one. the only area that is manageable is when you are within Uniben/ ugbowo. apart from that all other area in Edo state are not good for Glo users
we use airtel any day any time. 1500 naira can give you 3gig bb plan and it is usable on all device or rather go for 1000 naira for 1.5gigg
Etisalat is the fastest though. but have never tried empty hen because I dislike empty hen with passion they are like devil, they give you with one hand and collect back from you with double hands.
this is my ogologo marky(opinion) based on logistics, reasoning and experience about our network providers. OK make I go play football like this so. thank God it is Saturday.

Tell me about the Airtel BB plan plz

Reference:

GLO has a slightly better spread but Etisalat more than makes up in quality.
Both network has their weaknesses
Glo for example has poor internet connection in most towns and villages but has cheap data while etisalat has good internet connection but in selected areas but their data price isn't expensive neither is it cheap.

Tweak your apn settings and it will work. Go to settings then cellular then cellular data options then cellular data network change all the apn fields to web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net you should have the hotspot option now
BedLam:
Mtn doesn't allow hotspot on my iPhone 6S. This is crazy.

Been using Glo for a long time now and can say the network has been crappy for over a year now.You can hardly make a call that last 3 minutes without some form of bad connectivity or call failure.I switched to etisalat and can say there has been no regrets asides the data being a bit expensive but its surely worth it..Glo data offers more data which you cant even enjoy due to the very slow network..Etisalat all the way

To determine d best network... U av to download heavy file n check d consistency to know how durable it is. So far....MTN remains d best network in Nigeria but they ar not price friendly.

Yes dear. When u subcribe within the stipulated period, u first get half of your bundle and after 30mins, u get the other. For e.g if u subcribe for 1k - 3.2GB, u will get 1.6GB and after 30mins, u will get your remaining 1.6GB

MTN data subscriptions in my zone is like sacrificing your money.

Glo is fraudulent... You never get to use the data till expiration. Oops I forgot... Glo brought a 4G mast less than 500meters from my apartment... But guess what? The Glo 4G and my phone's 4G don't speak the same language.

Etisalat non existent.

Airtel works occasionally but more consistently... However the data volumes are dubious.

My WiFi works whenever it's inspired to by the gods.
But MTN and Airtel outside Nigeria are super fast... What's wrong with the Nigerian network providers.
so no network is good in your zone....which zone are u in

Glo has almost the same rate with mtn now. The previous bundles have been halved for the same rate. Dial *777# to confirm.

That's not true sir. It simply means if u didn't renew ur subscription before or after 3days of expiration, you will be given 1.6gig instead of 3.2.

Dial *777#. The 3 days stuff is a scam. You mean I came up with this myself? A condition that didn't put new subscribers into consideration. It's all scam.

Yes o
You are right. I did my sub last night and was shocked.

My 10gb sub expired and I did a lower amount of 1.6gb, only to discover it was exhausted within 48 hours. I was shocked so tay I did another 2.5k sub, only to be given 5gb. Imagine such level of thievery. They are trying to give me a good reason to dump the whack network.
