I need someone to categorically confirm if the night plan is not subject to the cap and throttling. Anyone using it?

If u are asking about spectranet they reduce their speed to 10mb/s for their night plan.

So, for two weeks now I am enjoying Ntel XL bundle, not having any problems. I reach up to 2 MB/s speeds for the 10gb a day, in Abuja. After the 10gb or goes back to 60 on/s, but I usually don't reach the limit. So 20k/month is totally worth it.

I just hope Ntel will grow as a company in every aspect.

Don't get me wrong, it's not completely perfect, sometimes even if you are on the fast internet, it might fluctuate, the speeds might go down for a few minutes, but overall it is like the good old days when they just started. I hope they will invest more in Lagos and provide better service. It is nice to see another Nigerian company actually trying to enter the game, investing INSIDE Nigeria, not outside...you should support your companies more, give them second chance.

Not true, when they first started I was getting an average of 58mbps, so u getting 16mbps for 20k is not good enough

@NtelAssist, What is the daily fair usage on the NTEL N12,500 monthly plan? 3GB or 3Gb?
My line was throttled almost all the time without any substantial downloads. I hardly used more than 500MB per day.

Give us a Data plan 90GB for 12,500 Simple... this makes better sense that all this FUP, T & Cs..

Will the unused 3gb per day be accumulated?

For example. My Office NTEL line has been switched off since Friday, but when I get to office tomorrow , usually between 9am - 10am the speed throttling starts, meaning i have used up 3gb between 9am- 10am.

What happens to all the unused 3gb when my router is switched off.

I suggest you just give us the standard date package and let us decide how to use it.

the only upside is me being able to download anytime i want but as per more than 300gig a month, i can get that with swift 8k plan

I checked out Swift, yeah, it is good, but it is only in Lagos...

There's a mistake i see almost everybody here making. (I know that many people here know the correct thing also)

When referring to megabytes per second
Pls type mBps (make sure the "B" is in upper case , capital letter)

When referring to megabits per second (what most speed tests give you)
Pls type mbps (make sure the "b" is in lower case, small letter)


And remember that;
1 megabyte = 8 megabits

10 megabits = 1.25 megabytes

512kbps = 62.5kBps
(Kilobits) (kilobytes)

Just divide the speed in kbps or mbps by 8 to get the speed in kBps or mBps (divide the kilobits or megabits by 8 )

And lastly

I think Ntel is run by very wicked people
