Lady shades Nigerian women who are anti-polygamists as IBB's daughter is set to become a 3rd wife Apparently, former military leader, Ibrahim Babangida's daughter, Halima is set to become the third wife of Auwal Lawal, a governorship aspirant in Gombe state and son of the Sarkin Sudan of Gombe. Halima will be getting married to Auwal tomorrow May 12th. Facebook user/social commentator, Aisha Alubankudi, threw shade at single Nigerian ladies who have refused to become 3rd and 4th wives. According to Aisha, women who are anti-polygamists would wait endlessly. This post is of mean repute. Marriage is never the sole yardstick for the attainment of life's fulfillment. While some persons may see marriage as the ultimate goal yet others may not. This last group can take advancement in education, career or business as their fulfillment. To rush into marriage and the worse, in a polygamous one, is never the best. In life, people should leave certain things to take it's natural course. Marriage is one of them. Mind you, the reason a lady accepts polygamy is far from being just "not to wait tire". Other reasons like economic, social/social status, religious etc., play some roles in the choices people make in marriage. Ladies should be encouraged in whatever good and contemporary decisions they deem fit in their choice of marriage.
