If it's iPhone, just set it to flight mode when not in use

So you'll not receive phone calls again because you want to save battery?
Why not buy a big battery Smartphone like the Tecno Lseries or infinix note series
Re: How To Care For Your Smartphone Battery by Nobody: 8:45am On May 16, 2017
I like the latest technology in my Tecno L9+ though, I only have to charge full under 1hr and can use for at least 48hrs. It's not even advisable to be charging every now and then.

Strangely enough, I use the phone
Interesting to hear that it's popular on Nairaland too

True, but funny enough there's a power saving feature on L9plus. Enable it and you'll be struggling to finish the juice on it.

Oga, where are you making your assertions from?
You can shorten the lifespan of your battery if you keep overcharging it
donbenie:
Leaving your battery plugged in ALL night has been proven to have ZERO negative impact on the life of a modern Smartphone, these devices have built-in regulatory mechanisms which kicks in once the phone reaches 100% and shut down the charge to avoid overcharge..
First the rate of charging slows down at around 90% and then trickles till full and shuts down at 100%,then only kicks in if required to top it right back up..it's a MYTH still being propagated to scare the gullible..

That is EXACTLY my point,GOOGLE is your friend..you can't OVERCHARGE a Smartphone..
A little experiment for you, charge your phone till it's FULLY charged at 100%..you'll notice that at a point the battery charging signal will go off, indicating that the phone is no longer charging even though the phone is still plugged in,that's the overcharge protection kicking in..
And if the phone is turned off while charging with a Power Bank, you'll also notice that the Power Bank will trip off on its own sometime after charging the phone to 100% showing that it's no longer CHARGING the phone..
But don't take my word for it,like I said GOOGLE is your friend..

That phone na battery na

Thanks for the headup. But some phone's battery don't need saving o. Take for example Tecno L9 Plus high capacity battery. It won't even make u charge every time. Enough battery life to do everything and anything.

There is nothing like over charge o! Phones these days have their batteries built such that once full, the mechanism inside repel further inflow of electric charge making it be at equilibrium.

I got it for 57k. That's like two weeks ago though
