Bros calm down.

The police you see in that picture are slowpokes. There are just there to fulfill all righteousness of visiting a crime scene.

You were expecting to see yellow tapping around the crime scene with emergency ambulance, cops with gloves, object labelling, evidence carrier kit, forensic and homicide cops battling to unravel what an ordinary citizen can not decipher, right?

The last time I checked, Nigeria is an underdeveloped country. Cased closed! lipsrsealed
Do they have our records... Why the forensic?

The investigators were even holding the crime weapons without gloves. Honestly, I'd have thought our police would be better than this by now. So we still don't have ballistics and forensics? The weapons, even d bullets could be traced to reveal even wider information about where they originated and when. What about the prints on them guns? Instead this small crowd just dey march and trample all over the crime scene and even holding the danm gun in naked hands. No wonder I've never seen the 'CRIME SCENE, DO NOT CROSS' tape in Nigeria. Maybe we'll get there someday and these fellas we tag as NOTORIOUS KINGPIN wont even last a week.

Yes they do have our records. ATM takes biometric data registration. Almost everyone have an ATM. Your SIM cards have the same. Your voter card too. Your drivers licence etc. But yes, I see grave incompetence. These wealth of data are not routinely streamlined and deployed except on those rare occasions when some big wigs job is on the line. It's truly sad

How are the police recruited. By 'allocation' of opportunities to various tribes and sects and states and.... So can you find a single policeman in Nigeria who applies for the job via inspiration and undergoes competitive screening and is vetted based on competency.... no.

So how can you expect performance from incompetency. How can you expect genius where there is no inspiration. How can you expect the police, a law enforcement institution to work properly when you insist on 'allocating slots' based on ethnocentricism. Will you employ your gateman based on such thinking. Why do you accept it for your country.

Restructure Nigeria now. The clock is ticking....the fuse it lit. Bandits, militias, herdsmen are having a field day, falling through the cracks of the law that cannot bind the nation together.

In Developed countries that dead body will have been placed in a body bag, after pictures have been taken.
They respect the dead over there

the dumb police chief I believe has just contaminated the Robbers gun with his DNA and fIngerprint. and they are all walking around and contaminating the whole crime scene. Nigeria really is a backward nation. it will take another 100 years before nigeria moves forward

so many things are wrong in those pictures. A crime scene should be isolated. The policeman walking over the dead robber. The man carrying the robber's gun with his bear hands. etc.

he was in a better position to have taken them down all after killing the first guy and collecting his rifle, he shouldn't have tried coming out from that room, maybe position well and take down the man still inside the car,if the other of his colleagues in the security house had assisted him,it would have been more easier .

Well today, a new image popped up of top police men at that particular crime scene and I was almost in tears with how the police officers were going about the whole thing. Maybe I have watched too much CSI Miami, but those top shots displayed a high level of incompetence.

[b]So can you point out a few things wrong with this picture. [/b

[/quote]

What is wrong with you? Do you understand the purpose of police visiting a crime scene is to collect evidence? Now what other evidence are they expected to collect there? The incident was caught on tape so the escaped gang members can be identified later. So what are the police doing wrong and can you specify how exactly it is being done wrong since u r now an expert?

I suggest CSI or IDx should be made a compulsory station and pass time view at our police stations. You go there, and you find those fortunate enough to have electricity watching telemundo and African magic. I am sure the facility to even take and zoom in on the CCTV pictures are lacking. We really are in trouble.

But did the guy in the security room who gunned down this robber eventually die? Although, it's good he fought back but if only he had remained calm without shooting, the other guy wouldn't have gone in there looking for him and he just wouldn't have lost his life if at all he did.

Most of them feel passing through training college and a few refresher courses is enough for personal development.

Majority of the men of the force don't aspire to be better not to talk of being different. Hence, we have a huge bunch of problems on our hands.

.well, reports from POLICE said he died after two months. I think he acted brave, I mean why was he there?if those robbers made it,the next time they would want to embark on such escapade again they would really have to think twice because with cops like that brave guy, they ain't gonna have field day,RIP to the brave and gallant POLICE man.
