Its quite relieving after the FG announced the commencement of the N-power program as many unemployed graduated seemed hopeful. This program is said to absorb over 600,000 graduate. Nobody enjoys being unemployed though but, I want you to know how tired up you will be in this program once you are given the job.
Remember they requested for ur BVN?
This means that after you apply for the job, you will not be able to apply for other Government job thereafter. As it will read in there database that you are already employed at the Federal level, there is no flexible potting. A friend who works with with a Federal Secondary School shared how he went for an interview during the CBN recruitments and after performing excellently, they told him he had a Job under the same FG through his BVN. So, if you wish to apply for this job, consider not getting any other Federal Jobs. While this may be a way to reduce unemployment think of the implications it will have in your life.
Just like NYSC, you will be supervised, you will not be allowed to leave a particularly area. Really NYSC part II
You will be tired up with 23k for 2yrs.......reflect on that......

I opened the portal, click on npower teach filled the one page form which contains BVN, account no, email, home address, age, educational status and the rest all in one page and I click submit after which I saw successful. please help what else

Didn't really understand this whole thing. I registered through different links. I was given a reference I.d with NPWR/ and another link with N-Agro but only the first reference I.d was able to login but the issue is after selecting state of origin to pick local government is another issue coz its not displaying. The other reference I.d with N-Agro can't even login coz each time I try logging in it always say Incorrect reference I.d details. Which of the reference I.D is meant for registration coz am confuse now.

I registered successfully yesterday, I have my Reference ID already but I did not uploaded any documents since there is no any link provided to do that. I still need more clarification... Thanks

This is a nice info, but I will say first that there is no account creation (I mean no username and password created). Secondly the first stage of registration is BVN verification and immediately after that, you will be taken to "choose program" directly where you will fill in your information, education, skill, address etc... There is no room for upload. Onlu reference code was given. I didn't see any place for username and password created. So I feel mail will be sent to continue but till now am yet to receive mail. Neither can you proceed to the next phase as there is no means to do that. I don't know if anyone is experiencing the same thing with me. I registered yesterday evening.

pls don't ignorantly mislead people exactly this same thing was said during the first batch and it discouraged a whole lot of people from registering

a lot of Npower volunteers that are already collecting stipends were selected for fcsc. no job application process will request for your Bvn when u have not been selected ( except maybe programmes like npower which is not a jobis )


it is when u are finally selected for the job that u notify npower to delist u so ur Bvn wont clash
And pls npower is not a job its volunteer scheme. npower itself encourages volunteers to use the skills so far gained to apply for jobs so that they can exist the programme early for other people to make use of the opportunity

It is very easy, i just curiously tried and it went successfully, the reference number is long, and you will be asked to keep it secret for further use.

Mine was successful after trying severally, they hv issued me with a unique identification number.
