This is just a mere family photograph, isn't it? Far from it, this is evidence to the court, definition of split second and a haunting memory to the family.

A Filipino politician , Reynaldo Dagsa, was taking a photo of his family when he captured his own assassination. The man in the far left, Arnel Buenaflor, was wielding a gun and aiming it right at it target. The photo was so on time, that it captured the moment the bullet left the gun.

To say there was no law during the Nazi regime was an understatement. Many people hated the government but no one had the gut to oppose.

Yet this man, August Landmesser didn't perform the famous Nazi salute. He had gone against the rule by marrying a Jewish woman, he was later drafted into the army where he died in action.

In football we are united, with football we are divided. This photo shows the moment Andres Escobar, tried intercepting a pass but mistakenly deflected into his own net.

This resulted in his death, for he was murdered five days letter by three men, while he was alone in the parking lot. They began arguing with him. Two of the men took out handguns. Escobar was shot six times with a .38 caliber pistol. It was reported that the killer shouted "¡Gol!" after every shot, once for each time the South American football commentator said it during the broadcast.

The group then drove away in a Toyota pickup truck, leaving Escobar to bleed to death. Escobar was rushed to the hospital where he died 45 minutes later.

Rumours have it that the cartel that murdered did so cause a bet was placed on that match and they lost.

So to everyone this is the picture of a skydiver smiling to the photographer just before a jump. But There is something no-one except the skydiver, Stephen Hidler knows, he had cut the fibre holding his parachute in an attempted suicide. Interviewees had it that, Hidler was a man who would have loved to die a fascinating death.

He plummeted 13,000 feet to his death.

To everyone Sports unite the world, or so was expected during the 1972 summer Olympics, Munich Germany. Almost all athletes were lodged in the Olympic village, when a Palestinian terrorist group raided the building and kidnapped 11 Israeli athletes and coaches. Everyone knows the tension between Palestine and Israel. The event resulted in a hostage crisis, and was covered by major and local television.

The German authority tried a fail ambush to rescue the athletes, but on realising this, the terrorists blew up the helicopter which was used in transporting them. You need to read the whole story. Also don't forget to read about Operation Wrath Of God, carried out by Israeli elite forces, to kill everyone involved in the planning and execution of the attack, just like a movie.

Pic 1 & 2 are images of the masked attackers.

Pic 4 shows one of the athletes initiating a negotiation at gunpoint.

Why, she doesn't like taking photograph so let her be. But don't all girls like photographs? Not quite, this time. This is a photo of Regina Kay Walkers, the last ever photo of her. Walkers had ran away with her boyfriend, Ricky Lee Jones, but they disappeared. It is believed that they were picked up by Rhoades who immediately killed Jones. After which he kept for a long time. She was killed moments after he took this photograph.

Rhoades? Robert Ben Rhoades is a serial killer and rapist. He is 72 years old now, and his believed to have killed and rape 50 women. He was a truck driver, but he converted the sleeper cab into a chamber where he tortured his victims. He was caught In the early morning of April 1, 1990, officer when Mike Miller of the Arizona Highway Patrol found a truck at the side of I-10 with its hazard lights on. When he investigated inside the cab, he discovered a nude woman, handcuffed and screaming. There was also a male present who identified himself as the driver of the truck. After failing to talk his way out of the situation, Rhoades was arrested and later charged with aggravated assault , sexual assault, and unlawful imprisonment .

This photo might highlight two women having fun at the beach.

But on more insightful look, it shows the stack difference between two races, two religions and raises more questions than it answers.

Our terrible ability to capture tragic moments in Nigeria is the reason we aren't so sharp historically..I'm sure if we could capture moments..Nigeria would have like 2,000 pictures that are tragic..The day Tafawa Balewa was murdered in cold blood,How about the day Muritala was murdered..The moment MKO gave up the ghost,What did he say?..What of the day Kudirat was murdered?..The day Okparaji died?.The Nyanya Bombing nko?..

****************
That been said We can still make amends..Like we can capture the moment Saraki would finally be caught by God?..Or the day Obasanjo would cry for all his atrocities..Or the look on Babangida's face when he stares death in the eye..Or Rev King's last words..Or Shekau's final moments...
I rest my case

How could you be so alone in such a place?

Everyone knows Neil Armstrong, no one knows his partner who allowed him to go forward so he can take the photos, if not this images would not be available.
