This is not the first time Customs has destrooyed chicken in this country....and it has been happening all over the country. And most of the time, the chicken is contaminated.

Maybe you want to eat poisoned chicken....me I don't want to.

And since na Igbo affair as some of you people want to make it....what stops your governors from setting up policies/loans favourable to polutry farming? Better to eat chickens raised at home...than imports of dubious provenance.

“This 1×40 ft trailer load of frozen imported chicken is a huge loss to the owner.

The fact is this all Meat has some form of preservatives on it, I buy meat in London from Turkey and Argentina, they have preservatives in them and how do you think we have Orange 24/7 in london all year round we have bananas if they do not contain preservatives.

Bro I get what you are talking about fine but I think we are asking the wrong question, the question we should be asking is who in Lagos allowed this fru from the ship? the customs are not talking about thier own shortfalls, so why are we giving them kudos for a JOB they never did, for all we knew they Customs have collecting money from this said importer,Now my point is if they have done thier JOB at point of entry then these chicken would be fresh, and directed to needed places ie IDP camps.These are the points am trying to raise.

Not anymore, but i did almost a decade ago. Nowadays i stick to naturally home grown foods. I even avoid processed tomatoes talkless of canned fish etc

But tomatoes has got herbicides and pesticides sprayed on them so you aint Organic fru n fru by its definition.But thats just me, I eat frozen food where I live and everyone does even the famous professors in nutrition does/
