If nah that one they are extremely good...they will get your number,house address and introduce you to their PCF (Pastoral care fellowship) and even assign you to a cell group but pray you don't have any issues....you are on your own...

I'm not here to go against his preaching cos in my own opinion,he is a very sound teacher of the word and I still listen to him but when it comes to the abnormal affinity of the church to money and the gross neglect of welfare of the members I guess the church needs to do a lot of adjustment.

It really takes a spiritually mature mind to understand the principle of giving. Been a member for 6 years, I can attest to the benefits of giving to God. A good Christian should give with the mindset that What they give is for God. That's how I give and I don't bother to wonder what anyone does with the money because I have given it to God so anyone who misuses it, has God to answer to. I had an accident in 2001 and I was incapacitated for a period of time and I was so amazed that after they came to pray for me,they just left me to my fate without even asking me how I will cope since I was bedridden but you won't believe that shortly after I got back to my feet and started attending the service,the group leader called us that we should contribute money to buy a car for the pastor to celebrate his birthday and I just smh!

Yes CE is all about giving and I dont have problem with dat. I got annoyed with the church and tried to go to other churches but i ended up empty. Living faith, Salvation ministries, RCCG etc None of them fed me spiritually like CE. Yes some leaders there have questionnable characters but the gospel 75 percent of all churches preach came from Pastor Chris. I was shouting wen a deeperlife member told me Christianity is not a religion. Find out who first used the word RHEMA, LOGOS, DUNAMIS in his preachings in nigeria. I have a good friend that has been taken away by pastors Chris's messages. He once told me that once you accept Jesus Christ, your sins are gone even the one you do as a Christian. He made an example that if one accept Jesus Christ and fornicate, that if the trumpet should sound the person will make heaven. I was very shocked. He said that the person has been bought by the blood of Jesus Christ already. I also see most of their members taking fornication to be normal, even their so called pastors. I believe in the authority of Results and not in authority of Ideas. This church you are criticizing has result which is obvious to the whole world. See you can't do spiritual things with flesh or gimmicks and not be caught one day.

To me it really obvious the OP is not a member. You can't be a true christian and have a problem with giving. Please bear in mind I am not a CE member. The scriptures in the bible that support different types of giving. Giving to the poor, giving to Church, giving to a man of God, giving to our parents and lots of them but people always have problems with giving to a man of God yet it is one of the secrets to divine prosperity. Read Philippians 4: 10-19 You will understand that the prayer that everybody prays 'My God shall supply your needs according to his riches in glory'. Paul Prayed the prayer only for the people that gave to him.

You are there pontificating and postulating, where there are millions of people sponsoring the work of God across the universe with millions of dollars. Who are going to be the Joseph of Aramatia of this generation, the Dorcas, the priscilla and aquilla and lots of them.

If you have the right heart, pray that God should provide for you so that you can give to all the categories the bible advised us to give to, especially sponsoring the gospel of Jesus like Ezra & Nehemiah in the bible.
