It appears that he has no love for Buhari and he is undoing the Buhari Government, behind the scenes.

As the Party Chairman, Oyegun is paying lip-service to the structure of the party and the discipline within the party.
In fact, Oyegun is just waiting in the wings for things to implode so he can fly with the "team that wins".

Take for instance, his docile tolerance and even approval of the way Saraki is causing havoc in the party.
Oyegun turns a blind eye to whatever Saraki does because in his calculation, he thinks Saraki may emerge the President in the very near future and He still wants to be on Saraki's good books, even at the expense of the Unity and stability of the APC.

Oyegun appears to be teeming-up with Saraki, against the current Acting President Osinbajo.
Infact, when recently, Saraki tried to fly a "Coup Kite" in the Senate, using Senator Abaribe or Alaribe or whatever he is called, when two senators said that since Buhari is indisposed due to illness and Osinbajo was out of the country (even when it was obvious he was out on official assignment!), that Saraki being the number three man, should "assume" the position of the President of Nigeria!

Unknown those these 'civilians' coupist that the Acting president was already back in the country, Saraki who was aware but has not informed his fellow coupist, tacitly shut down the 'kite' because it would have been impossible to fly, based on Osinbajo being back in the country.

What did Oyegun do?
He sheepishly said "I told Saraki and his backers to hold-on` whatever they are doing"!
That is a party chairman for you! He will be just pretend not to see what is going-on, whuile allowing the rubbish to fester.

Oyegun, in his effort to unseat Tinubu in a dangerous power-struggle and pang of jealousy, allowed Saraki to fester and continue to distabilize the party.
Oyegun says one thing to Osinbajo and then says another to Saraki.
Oyegun is a snake and should be stamped out as quickly as possible.
That Oyegun is just waiting for the APC to implode (it is not not already imploding) as Saraki has promised him something better should he emerge as President.

APC faithfuls must shine their eye and not allow Oyegun to destroy the party.

If there was anyone within the APC fold that I loved most, it was Oyegun. But I now hate the man with passion due to his inconsistencies, lack of direction and inability to get a hold on the party as expected of a responsible chairman.

The whole APC as a party now stinks to the high heaven. Buhari is sick and yet, does not want to relinquish power. The country is comatose and the ruling party seems not to have solution to our myriads of problems. PDP is even worse off.
