i showed this to someone I know and he googled tracking application status and when he entered his reference number he got an update even though he applied from outside the UK. Could it be possible that he got an update on an application for someone else who happens to have the same reference number who is applying from within the UK?

I applied outside the UK and I was able to check my status from the UKVI before I got my visa.Someone had said it recognises only application that has already been accessed by an ECO,I really don't know how true that is.

I was refused a Uk Visa last Year December in the refusal letter to visit my wife
I have noticed you both are married but theres no evidence to prove your conversation either after or before marriage ..
you submitted a bank statement which was rescently loaded with a large sum of money before you applying
Pleasw that statement was my uncle statement to support me because i didnr have a bank statement at then

I want to apply again can i have someone different support me or i still have to you that same uncles statement and explain why it had that large amount the other time i was refused
Is it compulsory to use that same statement and explain ??

its not priority service but it is tier 4. Submissions were made 6 July

Thanks! Yes Tier 4. I made my online application on 23rd June, submitted documents and biometrics on 7th July, and got mail about decision on 26th July. Received Visa on 31st July...

I actually took 2 weeks to submit documents on 7th July because I only did my TB screening on 29th June after completing online application on 23rd June. It took me exactly 14 working days from the day I submitted documents

Make sure coming to the UK is your last option. Thank me later.

No. Only TLS tracking is available. Except you get a message from them. That's because GWF tracking is only available for applications submitted within the UK.
Use the back tab at the top of the page where you got the 'reference not yet recognized' option till you get page where you'd see the applying outside the UK page which it leads you to. I also wondered why i got the unrecognized response too till I checked. I've attached screenshots for your info. You can also check my response to @Cumulus above.

Thank you everyone. I guess the best thing to do is WAIT. Keep checking your mail and tracking via the TLScontact website. I have attempted using the email contact of UKVI. I paid USD7.37 for the mail enquiry. It didn't help at all because they only gave status as it is on the tlscontact. The only available option is WAIT.
However, I did ask about "when to start counting the timeline?" and here is the reply "It will be from the day that you submitted your biometrics and sent your documents."
I am still waiting. Today is my 18th working days count ..........

What kind of evidence did you use last time? And what kind will you use now if you re-apply?

That is a signal to them that you were trying to trick them into believing you. Have you corrected that now?

Submission of Bank statements is key. Any reason why you did not have a bank statement?

Strong ties is usually WORK, CAREER, BUSINESS and INVESTMENTS. Did you show evidence of having these?

By "Support" you mean someone to deposit large amount in an account, for you to trick them again? e no go work.

It is compulsory to do the right thing

What steps should i take when reapplying please

Simple answer: Do the right thing. Have a GENUINE reason for the visit. Make sure you address ALL the lapses in the former application. They need to be sure that you have STRONG ties to your country. They need to be convincd that you have very STRONG reasons to return back to your country after the visit. Convince them.

My Brother, if you do the exact same thing, you will get exactly the same outcome.

Hello dear Nl UK experts ,

Please My mum was invited by my junior sister to visit her in the UK.

The visit start from 8th of August according to the invitation letter sent to us.

Just for 2weeks visit.

So my junior sister called me just now that the UK embassy called her last week Wednesday but she couldn't pick because she was at work then.

She is actually working as a nurse.

And so she missed the embassy call. But she has been trying to call them back since then without success.

Any one here with info if their email or phone number that she can call to reach the UK embassy and explain to them about the situation in ground.

Please kindly help out your fellow Nl.

I used priority was denied and applied for an Administrative review, decision was turned around.On d UKVi site it said open since d 11th May,up until July I didn't get any response,next response was decision made,3 days later I went to VI to pick my visa even though I had submitted in Ikeja.
Every application is different,the good thing is that every application will be attended to eventually.

I didn't wait for TLS after I got d update I gave them 2 days ,I went straight to Vi or you can go to the TLS centre first to confirm
