Your new narrative in Nigeria is Igbos are drug dealers. Well, this is Nigeria where every blackmail has to be deployed to stop Igbos from agitation for restoration of Biafra from your failed Nigeria. As time goes on, it shall emerge that the church attack in Ozubulu is Jihadists attack also aimed at stopping Igbos from agitation for Biafra. The message at Ozubulu was: 'Igbos see how you shall kill yourselves in Biafra.'
blueseacats:
In my eyes and in the eyes of smart people around the world who have built what can be tagged a society ,your lord hero is a criminal that should be condemned to death. I have helped millions because I don't pay tithe, I pay taxes and am current with my taxes and my taxes is used to build schools roads, good water and other infrastructure that everyone in the community enjoys . 'Me and you no de the same category ' I live in a society where people are supposed to tell the government what they do for a living every year. Your lord can't stand before me and talk .You? You live in a society where drug lord give you your daily bread and shoot at you when they have conflicts. You need to resurrected. You are already dead.

You should take a look at the mirror, and tell me why you are more fixated on denigrating the Igbo man and Igbo nation than questioning the efficiency of the Nigerian police force who failed Ozubulu people today.

Ask yourself, are you okay at all?
Why am I reasoning upside down, once I hear the word Igbo?

Pazienza nwanna!!! I respect you a lot on this forum but you failed it this time. If the report is true that the bishop is into drugs and that the killing is drug related then he has brought shame and death to his immediate family, his village, Ozubulu, and by extension Igboland and has therefore committed a taboo. I will go as far as calling him an efulefu.

Ajugi aju eri na-ebute ariagi aria anwu. The community and the church have questions to answer.

This Ozubulu matter calls for sober reflection not grand standing.

There are many honest and legitimate Igbo business men and women all over the world but we must begin to ask for the source of people's wealth before we glorify them.

Because of hardship, poverty and the near absence of job opportunities in Igboland since the Civil War many young men have devised creative ways to survive or make it. Sometimes those ways are ignoble. We must tell ourselves the truth.

There are good and bad people in every tribe in Nigeria. Every tribe have their own challenges and shortcomings and vices. My focus today is on my tribe and what we ought to do differently.

We must do something about re-teaching our values to our people before it's too late. We must re-educate our young men on what is good and honourable.

Ezi afa ka ego is a core Igbo value!
Let's ingrain it into the brain of every Igbo man and woman as we begin to rebuild the Igbo nation.

It's a good place to start.

The Catholic Church learnt this rubbish from Pentecostal churches. From Time Immemorial, there has always been a divide between church and state. Thats how the early fathers of the church made it. But what do we have these days?

You see the so called "Men of God" hobnobbing criminals and very evil men.

A time is coming in this country when clergymen would be imprisoned for receiving proceeds of crime.

I was reading one post on NL where one dimwit said the man was innocent as he hadn't been pronounced guilty by the court.

They should have shot the clergyman who received the church too.

You had 5 likes for this post, that is 20 or ten or twice the number of those who died today. Whichever number you choose is backed by media report that the BAD PUSH that should not be envied was responsible.
Now this is interesting, you had to go dig up a post I made in November, 2016. Dude it's official, you need to go get a life for f*cksake.
A terrible incident happened today in which a number of innocent people where murdered in cold blood by a group of psychos while they went to go worship their God and this what you could come up with? WTF, is wrong with you? I meant what I said, and I will say it again and again. An Italian proverb goes " a thief without opportunity considers himself an honest man". Stop sounding all so sanctimonious and face your hustle.

BTW, didn't you see the quality road he is constructing in his home town? If we had a sensible government, would individuals be constructing their roads with their personal cash? Go to the east and see how the government abandoned us all these years, that's the reason for all these clamour for Biafra. If I construct my road, provide my water supply, generate my electricity, go to a private hospital for quality treatment, then, why do I need you as a government? The northerners have total and absolute control over all the federal MDAs and over 80% of all the Oil Wells in this country, the yorubas practically own all the employment opportunities in the oil industry, the only thing left for the igboman to do is business and the same northerners use westerners to make life difficult for him as a businessman, by putting up outrageous taxes and hurdles in his way, but he still pushs forward. Why won't the Igbo youths venture into whatever will keep food on his table when the likes of you have blocked every single path to success he takes he then creates his own path.
Guy I swear, mention me inappropriately again, and I will so descend on you, no holds bared, you will think the apocalypse just singled you out. What arrant rubbish. angry angry angry

As far as I'm concerned he built a shrine for death.

Had he not built the church, perhaps the people would have attended the simple church they always attended whilst improving on it gradually as they generate better income and their purses grow.

Perhaps his kinsmen would have still been alive instead of being brutally shot.

Can we now say this building is more important than the lives it took?

Shady businessmen bringing death and indeed shame to a community.

These people are not interested in analysing this issue with open mind. To them, it's another avenue to rub in their stereotype of Ndiigbo as bad people, while they ignore the many bad things happening in their own neck of woods.

If we accept that bad people exist all over Nigeria and that bad events happen everywhere, then there won't be need for demonizing of Ndiigbo here by enemies feigning concerned about the loss of lives in Ozubulu today.

Those who seek to advise Ndiigbo should first go advise themselves.

I'm all for Ndiigbo having an in house discussion on this event, but I refuse to allow demonic Igbophobic entities, have a part in such discussion, seeing as their motives are not genuine.

This here is a societal issue it cuts across all tribe and ethnic nationality the money worship in our modern day culture. indeed there is a problem but what I can't comprehend is the way some youths try to defend the culprit or instigator of this tragedy that occurred in anambra.

we need to have a proper discourse about what hustle actually means we need to start talking about morals and virtues and what the proceed of crime could cause. the money worship was the cause of this tragedy I pray for solace for the family and friends that lost their loved ones today. indeed crime don't pay.

When we tell Church leaders to stop accepting money/gifts from people with questionable sources of income, they will not listen. Now see the number of people they led to their untimely death with their greed.
And to even imagine that a whole state governor agreed to commission a road project done by a 36 year old with no known source of livelihood shows that everything is wrong with that society.

Mumu, you don't have to be rich to pay tax, if you tap wine and pay 1 naira as your tax you are 1,000,000 times better than your lord church and road builder. See how you are exposing your huge ignorance in public domain, tax paying is a civil responsibility both rich and poor pay taxes. you can't even argue with critical thinking abilities. One minute you are singing praises of a drug lord and how he built you a school and church. The moment I tried to format your brain that tax money is supposed to do that and your drug dealer is to be under investigation. You switched and called me an elitist.

Idiot I pay tax and am proud of it. The money I pay in taxes government will use it to build schools and nobody will come and shoot students there cause I 'm drug dealer. Caveman who gave you phone to be on Nairaland.

1 minute you are arguing that at least "he brought his wealth home, as opposed to others that invested it in Lagos, " the next minute you said nobody asked anyone to remove their businesses from Lagos.

Your tribal fights am sure have not earned anything but misery and penury. Igbos are marrying Yoruba Hausa inter tribal marriage have come to stay in Nigeria. If you don't like it go and hang yourselves in one eastern bush ,your types has no future in the modern Nigerian society we are trying to build.

Stay in the east and die there, if you can't coexist with other tribes they don't need you among them either.
