He drove to Geogold, a hotel where he spent some nights alone. He would call Ebere to get some of his clothes to the office tomorrow. Thank God he had a spare suit in his car. He parked at the entrance and handed his key to a security personnel to drive it to the parking lot.
He walked to the reception and without delay, he was handed a card. The receptionist flashed him a smile but he was not in the mood for that. He made for the elevator, making a mental note to switch off his phone once he was settled.

Amara stood up from the bed and checked her phone again. He just went to pick something from her car so what was taking him this long?
She heard a knock and she began to remove her clothes, happy that her baby bump isn't noticeable yet.

"who's there? " She asked

"open up honey. It's me. " Leo answered from the other side.

She picked the towel from the bed and tied it around her body. She had it in her, and she gets whatever she wants.

I'm very sure the news will be all over the media by tomorrow morning and I don't want that. I just got divorced for crying out loud."

"No Phil. Why apologise? Claire, how long will you mourn your previous marriage? How long will you care about what people will say? Where were this people when you were sad in that marriage? Where were they when your sister took your husband from you? I hate to say this but I'm tired of you wallowing in pity and thinking of people who don't care about your life." Chantal said

Silence reigned in the room as they looked from one person to the other.

"it's okay Phil. I'll change and join you guys downstairs. I'm sorry if I sounded ungrateful."

Phil flashed a smile before leaving the room. Chantal turned to Claire immediately

Micheal walked into the hallway and froze. Was that not Amara? He watched her give the boy a peck before pulling him into the room. Worse case scenario, she was just on a towel.

He looked at the card in his hand and discovered that his room was next to theirs. He walked to their door and knocked lightly. He won't react, he would just say hi and mind his own business. He had his past mistakes to mourn and that was a big punishment to him already.
