This is BENIN KINGDOM where the KING is TRULY KING.

On a more serious note, this is another reason Africans would always remain in the medieval age, centuries behind civilized countries. Its more irritating to note that not a few educated-illiterate youths here are hailing the act of the Oba. Such shame to my generation.

He bluntly refused to kneel down before the Oba to say his own side of the issue at stake.

Being a traditional setting, it was sensed that Ogiugo came fully armed and was immediately asked to remove his top (shirt).

As he was removing his shirt, some charms (ekhuae and akpalode) fell from his pocket.

That resulted in curses being placed on him and declaration as "oghion Oba".

Which constitutional issue did the president traveling cause again? He did not transmit power to his vice? Or which?

And so what if oba settles dispute? That's the only thing he can do as the custodian of culture and traditions. Do you think he can meddle in any dispute that's already before a law court? His power does not extend beyond his palace. Are auchi people also his subjects? His power is very limited.
