I will.suggest for listening go to YouTube and download as many videos as you can and practice. To save cost you can do a night plan and wake up and download a lot of videos preferably about 15 videos if you practice all it will go a long way in helping your listening. Also check sites like mini-ielts.com and buddyielts.com .

You should take them to court. i have read other similar cases like yours and the applicant won the case with ppr

hi, thank you for your response, can you please tell me where you read that, maybe that is another option, the application is too expensive for someone to deny me with flimsy excuses.

Lol@talkative. Not necessarily. I'm an introvert myself and self-talk helped me a lot. So you can say I'm talking from experience.

You'll be fine.

@Remxyj: Please assist with practical insights here based on your experience.

@winter: You can also check the following link for further information.

See https://www.getgcms.com/blog/add-family-member-express-entry-application/

@winter: My case is similar to yours. I had my baby a week to when ppr mail came in so what I did was to figure out my VO which is Ottawa so I mailed them cos the mail states i must notify them before sending down my passport so I mailed them and I attached a copy of her birth certificate just to show that I just had the baby a week earlier and I was gonna notify them. In the process of waiting for their reply I went ahead to have her int'l passport expressly done as well as her medicals. I also raised a CSE and attached her documents that I have available and also I put a cal thru to Ottawa; the agent was very helpful and he acknowledged receipt of my mail. A place holder will be created for your baby where you will be asked to upload her passport, birth certificate, additiona family information form and so on. You will then submit and make payment for the baby's application. Then she will be added and given a UCi number. I was told the first ppr mail will be cancelled and a new mail will be sent so I can send the baby's passport with mine and that of my husby.
Note: My own passport as not been stamped my baby came before PPR mail. Then for medicals I will recommend "The children practice in ikoyi" the give preferential treatment to new born. You won't have to queue. Best of luck.

You can also try IELTSLIZ on you-tube. google ielts tips also. the main thing is to understand how the test is administered and the different sections involved. once you understand this, you would do well. after all you have been speaking English from birth.

Happy Sunday my people!

Pls help needed.

1. How do I add a newborn after PR? What are the procedures?

2. How do I reach CIC to inform them of family configure after PR?

3. Which ECA body will be best in evaluating a Pharmacist qualification?

Question 3: PBEC but my husband used Wes doh cos we didn't have much information then so he didn't claim point as a professional, he was awarded points as a BSc holder. When he is much settled in Canada he will pursue the whole licensing thingy.

Thanks for the response @Remxyj

Will definitely find a way to inform CIC when the baby arrives.

The baby is not here yet but my due date is near and I am not ready to make the trip to Canada asap.
Baby will be here after my passport has been stamped and returned to me.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Winter check this link, it is specifically stated that you can add a family member after a visa is issued but before obtaining permanent residence status.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

How you do it is what i am not sure of but you can fill the additional information form and raise a cse, send a mail to Ottawa as well. I think you should go ahead and pay the fee for your baby, submit medical report and bio data page of your baby's passports as well.

Hi Ray78, what is your status, NA2 or 1P2?

Have you been refused a visa before? Where is your Visa Office? I am asking these questions because London Visa Office sometimes requests for Schedule A for applicants who have previously been refused visas and before they issue PPRs to such applicants.

Irrespective of the reason, it is not a bad thing and Schedule A can be asked for at any stage of the application, usually to clear an area. For example, reason for a visa refusal or explanations for gaps in personal history. Just fill the form and submit, no problems.
