I was forced to chat them up yesterday because most of my riders always compliment me and I see no reason why my rating will drop from 4.7 to 4.53. To make the matter worst; any rating below 4.5 doesnt not qualify for their promo
some riders are just difficult. Uber or taxify. You can never impress them. I pick up a rider and her boyfriend yesterday, i was moving with the pace of traffic, cos of cars in my front and they said i wasn't driving fast. As we got to 3rd mainland bridge i started doing 100-120km/hr, they still complain i was too fast. At the end they got me nervous with different complaints . I rated them 1 star and didn't expect anything more from them...

some of the foolish ones will accuse you of driving slow on bad road because you want to accumulate money for the meter. Human are very difficult to satisfy

Don't mind all the people discouraging you. It's a nice idea and you will make it. You can easily get misled on this platform. I am a driver and I'm also a partner so I know what I'm talking about. Some drivers complain because they are always thinking too small. Their attitude is their biggest problem. I have four drivers working for me, they are smart and I also give them better orientation. You don't limit your income generation to just uber or Taxify... people were making money from driving before they came in. They simply identify a need and they came in. There are still many needs people need cars for out there. Identify them and stop limiting your income generation to just uber and Taxify. And example of what I have added is school runs. It's a fixed amount monthly and I share profits with my drivers, it encourages them and it also makes them understand we are here to make money, not just work for uber or Taxify. You just need to think big.

It's strange that no one posts weekly screenshots income again, keep posting lads. Uber/Taxify has taken a lot of people out of unemployment to a decent wage, I think more people should embrace the opportunity. Unfortunately, it seems from my little research that there are quite a lot of unscrupulous drivers who like to take partners for a ride.

Side note attached - Uber South Africa rates, 1Zar = N26.85. It seems the rates are better in South Africa and in Kenya.

Avensis is expensive. Most come as manual.
