Hi everyone. Please I need advice, I am about 23wks so far and 3wks ago, I started noticing this pressure and pain in the upper outer part of my jajaina. I for ignore am as regular pregnancy symptom but I researched google and they said feeling pressure on jajaina is one of many signs of impending preterm labor.
Pls who knows anything about such pain? It gets worse when I walk around and I don't feel it when lying down. I dont know whether I should ignore it or start panicking.

Some hospital sef with this chooking hand of a thing, wetin dem dey find? Lol. I was checked down there 3× only, first when my nurse friend wanted to closed from her morning shilt (I asked her to) and I was 2 cm dilated, (that was 2pm)
Second time was when my gyna came in at 5pm, he checked and I was 5cm dilated.

The third third time was when I had the urge to push at 5.35pm (that's when I was fully dilated)


But maybe it's because I was induced sha.

I'm serious oo,show me the ropes cos I'm real scared of tears or having to do an Emergency CS.

Calm down, even as one confesses positively, praying for safe delivery. Moderation sure is key, but have an open mind. Don't feed fears. Tears and emergency CS is not the worst that could happen to a pregnant woman.

Maybe you should just prepare your mind towards both. Have everything ready from before the earliest EDD. After all, EDDs are +or - 2weeks so that anytime baby Cole decides to show face, he'll not take us unawares. He'll surely come when he's ready. I guess EDDs are just to prepare us for the likely time. Babies no kukuma know which one be edd. They'll just pop out when they are ready.


PS. I saw one huge preggy woman on Sunday and was wondering if it was you. I almost shouted Nimi22! [size=4pt] Are you huge? [/size]

The nurses will still chuk hand to check how far dialated you've gone. The only time you can escape it, it's when as you get to the hospital and open leg the nurses kon see baby head.

Scan gives +/- 2weeks/7days. But my doc uses LMP though.

Infact the only thing i need to put in my hospital bag now is tissue paper and i don't know why i always keep forgetting to buy but the truth is I'm tired, me and body aches are now best of friends but I know according to zaynie i can't be pregnant for ever.

Well I finally applied for annual leave/maternity leave and it was approved since 28th of August. It's gonna be a long 4 months for me It's well teamie, Oct is just 12 days away.

Yes o, we thank God october is very near but people are even more expectant than the person carrying the load, na wa o.You're lucky to have 4mths, mine is 3mths hence the reason why i will like it to start counting after delivery, even the 3mths sef may not be enough for me talk more of if i now start the leave now....Thanks teamie

Well, 3.2kg to 3.7kg is ideal tho. Buh, once I hear dt baby's weigh is more dan 3.5kg, I'll jst caution myself n reduce consumption till my date of delivery.

For me i'm using my LMP, scan always calculate ahead (about a week or two ahead) but for me i follow my lmp to calculate on my own whichever dates the baby decides to come is fine,whether lmp or scan

I would have even prefered the nurses to be female sef, all these male will just be chooking hand anyhow inside somebori....hian. It gives me cold shivers o and it actually made me depressed after my first delivery cos i couldn't imagine someone chooking hand inside me...chai,women dey see something
