Precious was doing a live video on Instagram, so I asked him who he thinks would win. He said Jahtell. He then said she is Six months pregnant shocked

For the first time in my journey of watching reality shows, I don't have any favourite. I'm really clueless on who to vote for.

Last season of TVN was easy for me. Nonso was my favourite, because he would hold his notes. I liked his discipline as a singer. Its not very easy for that kind of voice to go contemporary but he pushed himself. Sorry to digress.

This Season I had Chris Rio as my favourite,he is a great singer and has one of the best falsettos this season. But he seems to be too laid back, even when Stephanie was asking them to campaign, his own was very lacklustre.

Jdess also, but the last Ekwe performance, was great, but I know she can do more. Idyll has been pretty consistent and Jahtell though I think she stayed in her comfort zone pretty much the whole time,I commend her efforts.

Ebube has really shown growth and that's a great thing, Syemca also.Yimika is really creative with his adlibs and arrangement and I'm pretty much indifferent about Wow.

Sigh.

May the best Man/Woman win.

lol..... That's the way I feel too. I'm indifferent about who should win. I don't know who to vote for. Maybe if Bada was still on the show I would have voted for him. Presently, I don't have any favourite.

I totally enjoyed Team Yemi's performance! I'd miss you Aunty Ifeoma, you are very great!

I swear I hate The Voice! The way so many awesome singers just get eliminated is so heartbreaking! Just in one night - Powerhouse Precious, nobody badder than Bada, Shapera the growler, Gloria, Our Nigeria Whitney Houston - Aunty Ifeoma, Wilson........ Damn!

Listening to Syemca's performing unsteady, all of could see was Mo Adeniran from this year's The voice UK. Man that guy was fire.

I knew he tried, but comparing him to Mo, you should know how I feel.

I was wishing we had a throaty singer like Jacob banks or Adeniran this year, but it's all good.

A lot of things go on in TV shows, when Voting is left in the hands of voters, people often vote for sentimental reasons, as good as idyll is, he isn't better than Bada and Precious and idyll is very good.
Also, Timi had too many talents in his team and they had to cancel out each other, Bada and Precious are better than Ebube, Yimika, Syemca, wow, the rest is arguable but really tight...
Syemca survived the last time he was up and I wonder how, perhaps, its the Chike effect....

In all, I hope Jahtell wins, she is the best singer on the show..
Re: The Voice Nigeria Season 2: 2017 Thread by Nobody: 6:28pm On Sep 19, 2017
At least 70% of the finalists don't deserve to be there, how Yimika was saved ahead of Afolayan still baffles me.... The only save that was fair last week was that of Chris.

IDYL won precious! Imagine my shock grin

I knew idyl would win, he's been consistent, his personality is charming as evident with his performances. His charisma and everything.

That's what voters like.

if you watch videos on YouTube, you'd know people don't really precious, he shouts a lot according to many of the comments on YouTube.

So, I wasn't really surprised.

Not in relation to those guys I mentioned... Bada had the best stage presence on the show, you can't take your eyes off him when he sings...

Haba! Aside Ebube, the rest finalists deserve to be there.

Aside his battle, Afolayan has not really been exceptional, while Yimika has been exceptional. He is by far the best in Team Pato.

Syemca was saved even though him and Kendris, had the worst performance of the night...
Ofcourse, you know, wow is not better than Shapera nah..
As for Idyll, am really a Fan, say what you may, but he ain't better than precious or Bada, in my opinion, any of the 3 would be deserving Finalists in another team.

Bada is the least talented singer in Team Timi's top 4! He has the least range. Yimika and Syemca are better singers.
Even the stage presence is still very debatable.

Lol, this is sooooooo wrong, did you watch his battle?
His performance have been near flawless, he has killed every Performance from his blind auditions.. Syemca had an average blind audition, good battle even though he was bested by Afolayan, terrible Live performance and he is a finalists grin grin grin
Yimika isn't an exciting singer mbok, he does not capture the crowd....
Both of those guys are not finals material.... Afolayan, Bada, precious, Shapera, are more deserving....

The winner is between Jahtell and Jdess if we are judging based on talent. Both ladies are freaking charismatic. Like wow

That's what happens when too many good people are in one team... A lot of people who are better than some of the finalists have been eliminated.
Jahtell is good but she stuck to one style of singing throughout....

The Voice's style of eliminating many people at once is quite annoying. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this season was too short. Only three live performances and then the finale. We haven't seen so much of the contestants. They wasted time with the blind auditions and battles.

The kind of song Jahtell does require a lot of vocal dexterity, most of the contestants won't even dare it...

Syemca had an average blind audition? Or do you mean Bada? Timi turned for Bada at the last second! Yemi and Waje turned for Syemca and everybody was asking questions on why Waje and Timi didn't turn.

Average Battle? And Waje, Timi and Yemi were fighting to steal him? grin I think it was only JDess and Syemca that 3 judges tried to steal.

Yes, his Michael Jackson performance was a joke, but he was able to survive because he was in Yemi's team, the other people that were up for eviction were just there also.

His last week performance was one of the best of the night, many people said it here.

Yimika's battle unko? That performance remains one of the best this season.

Jahtell is the Voice for me! I'm giving her my 100 votes.

She has not been up for eviction before, so I hope her people have been gathering and saving money for this time.

Besides, she should have just told everybody that she is pregnant, sympathy votes would have been rolling in by now.

True though but she could have switched it a bit. Her last performance didn't excite me because I've seen her do something like that before. She's good though, I'll give her that and she's pregnant too. It can't be easy doing all that she's doing with her pregnancy, she dey try.

lol.... Abi na.... Timi hinted at it though. I was hoping he would say it.
Funny thing is she might not be among the top 4. This thing is all about how popular you are and the people you know o.. I was surprised that Idyll was saved over Bada, with the kind of support Bada had. Like you said, hopefully, her people will vote for her.

Afolanyan didn't do anything noteworthy after his battle round.
My favorites are Jahtell, Yimika & Syemca
They dont give prices for been versatile, if the show/judges/you (whoever makes the song choices) doesnt give you something out of your comfort zone then you're lucky. BTW the judges will mostly pick by who performed best vocally, if you like go show us say u sabi sing MJ then flop. grin

anybody wey win sha make him/her win.

its been a good show,i enjoyed the blinds and battles more than the lives.
its too rushed, the style of eliminating half or the participants every week, me no gbadu dat style.
is that how TVA is?

Bada > Idyll

That might be true and to some point subjective.

The psychology of an average Nigerian voter does not work that way.

Bada was very much too comfortable and that would be mistaken for complacency even though he's not. Anyone who knows music would appreciate the work he does behind the scenes.

Idyl shows more energy and dramatics in his performance, that's what voters like.

I'd use last years' edition project fame as an example, Kitay was favorite to win, In fact I never saw okiemute winning. Kitay's performance at the rock night and what he did with Timaya's "I concur" won him fans.

Okiemute upped things when she did 2 baba's bless you, phyno's fada fada. And her own originally composed song. Kitay just didn't measure up to that energy she brought and he ended up finishing even behind Elizabeth.

I see Jdess going as far as the top 3, because she's wise, she knows what she's doing and she appeals to different set of music lovers.

Forget that thing.

Those who had been up for eviction would surely have an edge, you know why?

They have established fan-base who were dedicated in keeping them in the show and it would be difficult far jahtel to get a slice off that.

TeamPato had the worst performance, I expected more from syemca, Bada will go higher even though he had been eliminated. Afolayan is better than Ebube.
This is my prediction
Jahtell
Jdess
Idyl
Chris Rio
Wow
Yimika
Syemca
Ebube
