I tracked and noticed that the mail left Lagos, went first to London, came back to Lagos, performed the same activities that were performed on it before it went to London, then, finally went to Accra.

I wonder why it first went to London.

impish:
Honestly, the thing tire me.

Courier from Cote D'Ivoire to Accra was even more expensive. About double. I was very confused. Perhaps there is an added service that they offer for passports that we are unaware of. Anyway sha, they know that this close to the end, we would pay N1m to get that visa stamp, so they can contunuu.

Seconded!

Thanks Algbenguze! I will go ahead and create my EE profile. Infact, I am based in Liberia and I just plan to use my personal bank statement (with GTBank). Quick one please, my POF will be from my bank (GTBank) in Liberia as I have been working in Liberia for 6 years. Will it be possible to use a foreign account statement (GTBank in Liberia)?

God has shown that he is merciful and worthy of our praise....Just checked my IELTS results.....want to say thanks to everyone too numerous to mention for the resources used...also to Bigfido who was a source of inspiration and for the prayers to St Joseph of Cupertino!(permission to share the prayer)

I used the Road to IELTS from british council,E2Language (writing and last minute for Speaking), used youtube daily for listening and never scored above 34/40. Also used mini-ielts (for reading) as shared by our resident data analyst Cochtrane

Oga 40manlappy...special thanks to you for leading me to this thread

@ Perks...I would be in touch soon...we are from the same faculty and alma mater!

Listening Score 8.5
Reading Score 7
Writing Score 7
Speaking Score 7.5
Overall Band Score 7.5

Lemme go and create my profile in readiness for next draw...tentative CRS is 437!(would av gotten invite if only but God is still on the throne)

Stay blessed and focused on the goal!

Does amount you have change your CRS. If I have like $30,000 will it chnage my CRS score?

I'm sure people would have preferred this option than dash money on ielts.
B.C. dey worry people.

A quick question.

During the period of my application I have travelled a bit and the details has apparently not shown on my passport pages which was uploaded. Now I have been requested to send my passport for COPR does it change anything?? Do I need to inform IRCC

Hi All,

Many thanks to Kontagious and Albgbenguze for replying my earlier question.

Please I also want to confirm the following:

1). Can I use a foreign bank statement as POF? I am based in Liberia and have been living in Liberia since 2012. I have a GTBank (Dollar) account here in Monrovia which I opened in 2012 BUT DO NOT have an account back home in Naija.
2). Can I do everything from Liberia? I already wrote the IELTS here in Liberia. For medicals, there's a designated hospital here in Liberia. Same with PCC (in which the Ministry of Justice in Liberia is the designated office). For Naija PCC, I presume I will have to go to the Nigerian Embassy to take my fingerprints to be sent to folks back home in Naija who can go to Alagbon on my behalf. Is this correct?

Lastly, do I need to travel to naija for anything? Thanks again.

I want to believe he's operating on a time zone ahead of Nigeria. I tried checking as well and got same response.

Now, the wait is more real than before.

Congrats Eboziem.

Good day everybody, Please i have two questions.

1. For somebody that has HND with several International Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (Like NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH IOGC, OSHA). Which one is advisable to used for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)

2. Can your Spouse's cousin that is a Canadian citizen be classified as your family.

Thanks

What material did u use please?

DEEAJA:
@Gereal. Pls can you pm ur email because i have a situation similar to yours and i need some clarification from you.

This group has been very inspirational in my Canada Immigration Journey.

A dream that started in April 2016 has finally come to pass.

We indeed serve an awesome God. We decided to start this journey in June 2016 but when we calculated the financial implication coupled with the high CRS then we had to let go of the dream.

But Mercy said NOOOOOOo!!!!!!!

Come 2017 with no idea how we would survive the recession we decided to try getting student visas, at least schooling in Canada would enable us get PNP. The search for schools started. settled on a school only to realize that we had one month left to apply. in our bid to gather documents, we stumbled on Australian Immigration System. we decided to try that, then we realized that they verify work experience and are at liberty to slash it if they are not convinced, i decided to find out the latest concerning Express Entry.

My eyes could not believe it, the required CRS Points had dropped.

We had three choices, School, Australian or Canadian EE. Being an Accountant, i drew up budgets required for all three processes, and submitted to Hubby. We prayed and decided to go for Canadian EE being cheaper and more realistic.

Then we had to start getting funds together and all.

First step was to apply for ECA from WES which we did on the 2nd of March, applied for IELTS and wrote it on the 8th of April.

Results came out April 21, LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7. Since WES was delaying hubby registered for IELTS just in case points started rising ( LRSW 8.5, 9, 8, 7.5).

After plenty tweets at WES plus disturbing the school, ECA came out May 29th. We created EE Profile MAY 29 and registered for Job Bank May 30.

ITA came May 31 and then another process began. the race to gather documents and get required funds ready. Finally submitted August 9.

see timeline below:
EE Profile May 30
CRS 441
ITA May 31
AOR Aug 9
MEP Aug 21
IP1 Aug 25
NA2 Aug 28
IP2 Sep 1
PPR Sep 6
NOC 1111
Dependents 4. We serve an awesome God. .

We didn't use hubby IELTS because we didn't get his results till June 1st.
This is to encourage everyone. Do your best and leave the rest for God.

For IELTS, it is English that we have speaking from birth. Ensure you understand the rudiments of the test. focus on tips and practice, practice , practice.
Above all, Trust God.

sorry for the long post, i have dreamed of this day since last year. lol. thanks to @mummyjaygirls, @ dupsyshoo and every wonderful contributor on this forum.

we will get there. Amen

1.) A place you've been residing since 2012 shouldn't be foreign to you. I believe, your Liberian bank account should be overly good to use. Moreover, it's your bank account!

2.)Medicals should be done in Liberia too, just because you are Nigerian decent does not mandate you to have medicals done in Nigeria. Who would ask you to travel down to Nigeria to have it down? Please don't worry much about that.

For the Naija PCC, I really don't know how to go about that, let's wait for informed response.

for PCC, get an inkpad and impress your prints on a paper. My contact in Alagbon said one could either scan or courier it down. so just get in contact with anyone at alagbon and you would be guided on how to go about it, you wouldnt need to come down.

Agreed. I actually used standard delivery for.mine but it never came. Instead of requesting for another I used the soft copy from WES and uploaded it.

@Mippishick Please is this your name Liberian name

If you have someone in Lagos Nigeria, the person can help you get your PCC from Alagbon. You will have to send your tumbprint and a copy of your passport datapage to the person including logistics money too.

I believe it's because London is their central hub for all mails, I've forgotten what it's called in courier terms, but the mails are then picked up by the respective countries.
