Imagine the NNPC GMD sidelining the Minister. Northern hegemony at work. Buhari's nepotism cannot allow for the best hands in any parastatal. It is only in government that Northerners excel more than everyone but can't compete in anything else. This administration failed before it started.

They jettisoned excellence for quota system in the name of fair representation and see where it lead the federal parastatals, steel companies, rail way corp, nitel, nigerian airways etc,due to nepotism and unmerited appointments, if not for essential services rendered phcn, npf,hospitals and public schools would have been shutdown already

This country would never progress with this nepotism . Dubious contract are been awarded for futile exploration of oil in the NE part of the country. Nothing came out of it but kidnapped workers, who are still under siege. Baru not satisfied has now awarded another contract for exploration in Sokoto basin. These are just ways to milk the country of scarce resources. We should be planning of getting more gas plant and petrochemical companies. I must commend Ibe for the peace we are experiencing in Niger delta today. Notwithstanding the appointments within NNPC has tilted towards North North North and it is not good. It makes others feel left out.

That is what you have in a ethnic centred government like that of Buhari.Gross insurbodination from northern junior functionaries to their superiors. Baru has not added any input to this NNPC. Kachikwu has done a lot to sanitise the Petroleum sector but the nepotism in this buhari government is driving everything into the abyss
