years ago the white (colonial masters ) came to Africa; imposed on us their ideologies, looted our money, diamonds, raw gold, poaching on our wildlife and other resources including artifacts. Recently group of African students in UK staged a protest to demand the repatriation of various artifacts that were stolen from Africa and kept in a famous museums across Europe. I think it's hightime we started recovering all good things stolen from our forefathers I mean taking back what the devil stole from us in dollars. Free the poor guys Abeg and instead go for the monsters involved in the Halliburton and NNPC scandal. I think that will speak more about the credibility of the EFCC than living behind elephant and parading mouse

So it doesn't seem even a tad questionable to you that school dropouts with no clear source of income are able to afford such lavish lifestyle?

That something is questionable doesn't equate to evidence of criminality. We're talking about RULE OF LAW. I don't understand this mob justice mentality.

The EFCC's job is not a tea party or a no-brainer routine of picking low hanging fruits. The EFCC is not a Boys Scout group of amateurish crusaders. It's not simply about arresting people because their wealth seems questionable. The EFCC MUST do the hard work of investigating and ESTABLISHING that the 'questionable" wealth represents proceeds of crime. It's really as simple as that. Otherwise, the suspects can not be punished merely on suspicion. The law says that people are innocent until PROVEN guilty. It's funny how most of you don't really understand the weight and import of this globally accepted legal principle.

There are many questionable things in this world, depending on who is doing the questioning. But no sane society depends on mere suspicion, hearsay, and assumption for its jurisprudence.

Don't be stewpid. The antics of these "Yahoo boys" have stymied Nigerians with legitimate business aspirations due to the bad reputation they've earned us for their internet scamming. I can't count the number of times I've revealed my identity as a Nigerian to foreigners in the real world or online and they crack some funny or unfunny joke about "Nigerian princes" (after the infamous Nigerian prince scam). It's embarrassing for anyone with self-awareness. I don't know how people walk around feeling no shame at our debased value system. This same lack of shame is why our politicians steal because our value system lauds criminality.

it is just luck things , couple with the risk and everything, if you give this boys legit paying jobs they will work. the government failed them, when even coppers are trying luck playing bet9ja after all the years in school, tell me what will then motivate the younger generation to go to school? am not advocating for crime don't get it twisted.

I seriously don't understand it when Yahoo boys 're arrested.

There 're far more important issues to take care of in this country than Yahoo bois.

Most of them 're arrested without evidence self. One jealous neighbour will just call the police and once they arrive n see any laptop or Designers Clothes n shoe you 're under arrest

I d vex no body should hold me oo
