Please, I have a detached room(bq) with 2 windows which is currently unoccupied. Can I buy the plastic ponds and raise the catfish in the room with the windows always left open for ventilation ? Or must it be outside under direct sunlight. I am asking because we don't have much space outside.

Fish farming like other business has its prons and cons.. And truthfully its a very lucrative and yet a money draining business..

I have read articles about how lucrative the business is and how to invest and reap millions.. All I do is just to laugh on reading such article.. All they want is just for u to buy their manual and make money.. Surprisingly most of them don't have a farm of their own, they are computer farmers who don't have any experience whatsoever in the business..

I know of farms within my area who have shut down their farms due to frequent loss over the years.. I was also considering shutting down myself after I lost close to 2 million naira, yeah u heard me TWO MILLION NAIRA, but after diligent study which took about a year I decided to give it my last shot..

Please, what is the price range of the collapsible pond? Is it cheaper than the white plastic tank?.

Initially, i was into hatching which i have abandoned for almost 2 years now but now,i am planning to rear them to adults. my juvenile catfish are eating the hell out of my pocket...it's their second month going to these third and they are 2k in number...can you imagine 15kg bag of aqualis only last for 5days...pls is this normal or am I over feeding them??

keep feeding. but it's normal.
as temperature gets warmer fishes will easily consume and convert faster.
just try not to overfeed to avoid gathering of excess fat

I have been having mortality of an average 2 fishes per day in d last one week, One thin common is swollen tummy and some wounds on deir body, pls how do I go about it.

It's a 10 x 12 concrete pond with 1 month old 1000fishes stocked.
