Team November, how do you cope with these antenatal visits. Every two weeks or week as case me. I tire to go hospital like that. Na only me waka come.

Mine is fortnightly. Ayam tired jare. After the stress of waking early to get a good number, they will just check weight, BP, urine test (I dunno what they are checking o, they wee jus write 'Nil' after inserting that litmus paper thing into the urine), do palpation, fix next appointment and be cajoling someborri to buy their stuff.
Ok, I enjoy the classes sha, but sometimes I'm tired and sleepy from waking very early. The one that pains me most is the 5h they chop everytime for that urine test without explaining what they are even checking for. The last time, I was tempted to write 'Nil' on my card by myself so I go pocket that money.
All my records have always been good, normal routine, I was really tempted to skip the last appointment. Shebi they wee nor know if I write fresh appointment for myself when I'm ready?

In my own case my mum has 2 wks leave which will start counting on the 14th and my sis that's with me has told me she's leaving ending of this month, and mil isn't coming at all so I'm on my own. I'm practically begging Cole to come soon let me enjoy 2 full weeks jare.

They even check ur urine our own is BP, weight and palpation. I've been going weekly for like a month now, but i didn't go for the last 2 appointments. U don't even need to write fresh appointment for yourself you will just cook up one lie why you were not able to make it.

Good afternoon mamas in the house, just stumbled on this thread out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. I'm a first timer and went for my first scan today.
I'm 8 weeks pregnant and EDD is 24/5/18
Hope the remaining weeks will be smooth coz truth is, the past weeks have not been funny at all��� like I should sleep and wake up with the baby by my side.
Major concern is choice of hospital for antenatal and birth... private or Govt. hospital? Plus who is well informed about Kingscare hospital? Are they okay or should I just go to general hospital? I'm in Kubwa, Abuja
I have been feeling funny and can't explain the feeling but extremely tired and nauseated but they gave me only folic acid to use...
advice please, I would have gone through each pages but 3k plus� Will never finish

The Lord is your strength. I don't have a Mil, although dh is the last born out of 9 shidren and I have 6 Sils. Of course, all of them are like aunties cos dh is their baby brother. Infact, their firstborn, my first sil, is in this same town, but she doesn't even know where we live or that we even changed location. Dh kuku doesn't send her, cos she makes it look like anybody coming close is looking for money from her (she married a very rish man ). We only visited her twice when we came back after the wedding. Since then, it's been OYO. I told dh that if only she took her role as most senior sis, we wouldn't need to travel. One of my Sils in another town called to check up on my health and dh was like, this is what big sis is supposed to be doing. I know when we call to tell them of lo's arrival, they'll be surprised we're out of town

Congrats teamie beyedew and all the mamas that have offloaded. God will do it for the rest of us. Still waiting for nature to take its course according to my Dr. He said I should wait till I'm 38 weeks currently we,re 37+. The pressure down there hmmm it is well.

Oh, I was suspecting either for Glucose or protein, but not sure which. Them for tell us na.. Cos everytime Nil, everytime Nil, so I kuku thought it was just normal routine to write Nil

Congratulations, Mama. Healthy and Happy 9 months to you. I stay in Kubwa and I didn't like the review of the Gh so I went to maitama GH. You can still check them and Bwari too. I don't know about Kingscare.
