Can't imagine what their fuel bill will be like. It will be through the roof. Scary stuff i bought 4k today and I'm complaining can't image what a V 8 engine will consume.

Dear parrot, Please in what constitution is it written that bankers have to earn more than uber drivers? Oh! you think drivers are not worth much because they're being employed for car owners to work for them, please are your bankers the owners of the banks?
We are all serving our employers be it corporately or the other way.
Secondly you calculate the best amount a driver can make in a week and you believe your birthright is the lion share, who says owner of car must earn more than the driver? As a matter of fact owners and drivers are business partners, no one is doing anyone any favour. Fine you're concerned as an owner that if your car develops fault you will bear the cost so why not earn more than your driver but you're not concerned that the driver is the one being exposed to accident, armed robbery, ritualists etc. You don't think that the driver may lose his life or become handicapped as a result of driving for you so why not let him earn more. That's selfishness.
Lastly when you're told about the risks drivers face or drivers ask to reduce your asking price, you enjoy saying.. the job is what it is if you can't stand it back off, what you don't know is that the saying can go the other way round like.. the job is what it is, if you're not content with what is realistic then back the f*uck off the business.
The 40k is not the actual problem but your attitude, a wise boss respects his employees, with the right attitude drivers will happily do 50k/week for you if it's sustainable for him.
That's the little piece of my mind, eat it fast and digest it slowly.
Yours sincerely

I've read quite a lot of gibberish here dammm. Nobody is forcing a driver to accept 60k, 50k 40k or any amount for that matter, however, you don't expect a partner to invest in a car and give it out for a rubbish weekly fee. The laws of economics shows supply and demand gives the partner the upper hand as we see here on a daily basis with drivers begging for cars to drive. I personally charge my drivers £35k weekly and if other partners charge less or more then to each their own but frustratingly there are a lot of people here with self entitlement attitudes spending so much time complaining. If you are not happy with the agreement with the partner, walk away!!!!

More importantly what difference does it make?

Sometimes I feel you're doing this on purpose. Okay listen to yourself, bankers should earn more because they are graduates, as if you don't know that majority of uber drivers are graduates as well with even better grades than yours (if you're a graduate). My village boys are the types that will make you eat your smelly vomit before it touches the floor, I'm an example, we don't take shit from shitty people. You say drivers are employed to drive, before nko? At least they get to count their money, I don't see why you would rather be a banker who is employed to count someone else's money, maybe because like most white collar jobs, they blindfold you with a box called office (that = removing your trouser) and put AC there to destroy your last line of defence (that = removing your pant), then you start feeling on top of the world while you're being raped simply because you're enjoying the AC. She even thinks bankers don't get fired, smh.
According to you in reality I'm a driver, and so f*cking what? If a banker earns 80k and a driver earns 150k you must be an enemy of progress to discourage me from being a driver. Ntorrr your plan no work lol

It seems u r taking it personal, or u just lack understanding.

Let me explain again, u need certain school qualification to be a banker, but with Uber nothing is needed. Only go to driving school and get ur drivers license, then do Uber online 30mins training then u r certified Uber driver.

You been a graduate doesn't concern Uber.

ur job is to drive, so u r a driver... I call things the way they are, I was also a driver for 2months.

I will never discourage u from been a driver, infact if u need employment file in ur application early, bc by November I will be recruiting.

To start with, I can and will never work for you. Then I've got to know that there's no point trying to readjust your mentality, it's embedded in the core of the foundation of your upbringing that going to school is a guarantee that you will be rich, now you've gone to school and you're not rich so you're taking it out on people getting rich by simply driving lol.

What is the attitude problem? For saying my corolla is 40k weekly, and demanding drivers respect agreement and blocking all loopholes, that will give drivers the advantage to cheat and all of you are taking it out on me.

Or just quote me where I disrespect drivers?

Well I've never worked under anyone before so there was never a former boss to cheat, and what makes you feel certain that hunger will finish me? Even if economy of the country worsens and against all odds I go hungry how are you sure you wouldn't have died of hunger already let alone having a door to knock on? Your thinking is one sided grin

Lol, bankers should earn more, because they go through school to be eligible to work in the bank. to become a driver with Uber is easy, I can find all ur village boys including u to start driving. Education or no education.

When u drive for someone, you are called partners, bc Uber want to use a good tone to describe the job, but in reality you are a driver. You are employ to drive and make weekly delivery. If you fail you will be fired! tongue

Go to chisco or GIG and tell them u are partner.

Finally, I don't care if driver earn more, if he has the ability to do 20hours daily and make 200k weekly not my concern, my concern is 40k weekly.

Because ur idea is to earn more, without working hard, then car owners should collect peanut, when car got spoilt u abandon and find another vehicle.

Everyone sitting behind the wheel moving any vehicle is automatically a driver, whether employed to do the act or not. Whether you are the owner or not, once your turn on an ignition and shift into gear, my brother/sister u be driver sef grin

A lot of the drivers are dying but don't know yet. Pls because God has blessed you with some money to be able to afford a car for uber doesn't mean you should suck d driver dry. First of all RIP to the dead.

Blaming the death on Uber driving is totally uncalled for.

There are a lot of driving job that is worst than driving Uber. A lot of driver's here pay HP weekly of 60k above, and nothing happen to them.

Danfo drivers deliver 8k per day, and they are happy with their job, driving Danfo is far worst than any other driving, @ the end of the day, if a Danfo driver goes home with 3k he is happy.

All this speech been unkind to mankind is pure manipulation. You can tell that to someone new in transport business.

Lol, what you could have said was the screen shot was photoshop.

My comments was a way to keep pressuring Uber to adjust their fare, bc any time I complain to Uber, I always send this link to them to see other people's view.

You can keep bad mouthing me, but I will still stand on my word, the minimum any owner should ask for is 40k weekly. And driving with Uber pay better than a lot of jobs.

That statement haven't been ruled out ooh

If you drive 16hours that mean you are chasing 150k a week, with 60hours a week, you will pay ur car rent and fuel money comfortably and even earn 20/25k weekly.

Forget what people are saying here, just go make that money, Danforth drivers drive from morning until night, still they can't make up to Uber drivers.

Wrong!!!

Danfo drivers never ever work from morning to night... Only the bus run from morning to night.

Danfo drivers do shift.

3-4 drivers drive a particular bus in a day.

In this business sacking of bad drivers should be your number one priority, no pity! No excuses! Is strictly business.

If my driver damage my vehicle, he will surely be responsible for the repair, that's the reason all my drivers paid a deposit of 40k to start. With 2 reasonable guarantors.

I didn't start driving because I intend been on the road, i drove because I want to understand the business more, and my drivers are actually afraid to cheat, because they know I have first hand experience.

The reason why u all attacked me here is because I'm giving out first hand information to car owners, so they won't be cheated.

Like seriously? You don't have comprehensive?

Or you are making your driver's repair and you still claim from your insurance?

Don't mind jayooh he just want to make sense @ all cost. I have a graduate working in a bank for 47k monthly, after tax, I mean his net income.

Most Uber drivers want to turn millionaire over night, bc they want owners to see they are suffering.

A driver once commented here that no more free money for car owners, that b4 anybody accept to drive that the deal must be hire purchase.

You see the level of greed in drivers is way beyond the politicians.

The fact that you work in a bank does not make you a bank staff.

Those that earn below 75k are not the bank staff.

There are categories of staffs in each branch.

This is an example of why many drivers will continue to go out of business. A driver has shown this newbie partner pepper now we will not hear sincere driver criticism.
That's one less car for the greedy drivers among the lot.
More owners are pulling out cars on a daily due to bad experiences with drivers, it doesn't help the sincere ones trying to get going.

@Xeedorf sorry about your experience, its become the norm lately. You should have protected yourself more and reduced your exposure. If you can drive the car yourself like you are considering, albeit only on weekends, please do just that.

Xeedorf:

Good day House.
Lekan is my name, I have a Toyota camry which has be inspected by Ulber and satisfy. But due to nature of my work, I hire the car for a guy knws has Ulber driver. Firstly, The guy refused to use my acct rely on his own account with Ulber I seen no problem with that...
The guy came to pick the car since Friday 13.10.2017 for work on agreement that he will be parking the car in my premises every Saturday against Sunday evening, But the guy wasnt reachable until Sunday 22.10.2017 evening. The guy start saying he was unable to connected to Ulber server for 3days bla bla bla......
No payment yet.. I need suggestion asap please.
Again, how may I go about driving it myself on weekends only,I would to be using myself if you guys can help me out with details
