we used Egypt air(Travel Start) Family of 4 from Abuja Nigeria to Canada. Egypt air was cool not as bad as people made it look, stopped at Cairo then boarded Toronto Canada.

we carried 5 strong Ghana must go backs and one Bus making it six luggage's it is not supposed to exceed 23kgs so na to weight the thing wella. if you are carrying food items ensure that are well preserved ie properly dried and grinded into powder and stored in Ziploc.

Abeg if una never book use Abuja to move out ooo, no stress from anybody there but ensure you get to the airport 2 hours before Boarding
so everything can be sorted out on time, but for us those Nigerian immigration guys be one tell me say my luggage plenty so i had to educate them that every passenger is entitled to 2 luggages and 1 hand bag and we were a family of 4 all this na to drop something sha.

our Luggage was not searched so just package your self nothing dey happen. so the journey to Cairo no wahala but the A/C for the plane na die, so wear better jacket for National peace. at Cairo waited for about 2 hours then we left to Toronto.

At Toronto now the immigration guys no get joy oooo, the babe come ask for all the document finally e come reach for the money we bring come Canada. so i told her we brought $1500 oboy no be small thing ooo this lady come dey speak english ooooo, as a sharp Nigeria guy before leaving Nigeria i activated online banking, dollar card and domiciliary account of all currency and change almost all the naira to dollar.

so we transfer all the money instantly to the dollar card and that was it. every other thing was history. Above all Pray before leaving, Baba God nia get Power.

But, i have 2.5m which was fixed about a month ago. I need 5.5m. I am expecting 2.5m next week which i will also fix. Please, i want to confirm that i don't need bank statement. And that the 2 proofs of investment will be suffice.

Also, the start of the fixed deposits is less than 6 months. Hope it won't be a problem? I am targeting Nov 1 or Nov 15 draws and will applu before the end of Nov.

The balance of 500k is my spouse's 25% of pension + monthly savings plan with a bank. Will i need to get an affidavit that i can use the money? Or the statement of those accounts alone will suffice? We intend travelling together.

Then, from reading the thread, i noticed accra is faster than london. Is there a criteria for applications sent to accra and those sent to london?

Abeg is naija international passport renewal up to 35k now ni? These immigration people no get joy at all. Kindly advice if it’s the going rate or the guy wan chop me. Was told it will be available for collection the same day after capturing.

No time is bad to fix cash. No statement is needed, just get the certificates.. Use LOE to populate and explain ur funds.

What's ur CRS? What's ur projected ECA completion date?

How old is your spouse? I will assume he or she is below 40 years of age. You mean you can get access to part of your pension before pension age? If so, 25% of mine is more than enough to beat the POF requirement. Kindly elaborate please.

CRS is currently 449 using the tool. Can't see a projected date. Is it meant to be stated somewhere?

My spouse is less than 40. Didn't know about the 40 year benchmark/rule. Thank God for this forum. So i will deduct that and use just the monthly saving plan.

People always say it, I guess it's somewhere. Check ur Acct well well. If 5000K is in his Acct, get d bank letter nao. U previously said it is 25% pension sth. Attach the required documents either way.

I hear of London VO more than Accra these days. No criterion that I know of , it is IRCC discretion, Ottawa may be d one u will get. In one month u r done with processing.

She wanted to be sure the money is physically with me in Canada, that was whyi had to transfer the money to my Dollar card on the spot(Courtesy Toronto Free Wifi) meaning i had the money in Canada only that it was in my Dollar Master Card.

I went to my pension manager website and it says you can access 25% of your pension fund if you - voluntarily retire, disengage or is disengaged from active service before attaining the age of 50. I will assume emigration will fit this criteria. I have already sent an inquiry email to them.

Someone please answer him/her concerning the monthly saving plan question.

I thought i could use the pension but my spouse is less than 40 which another poster just called my attention to, so i can't use it again.

But, there is still a monthly savings scheme account. I want to be sure if i have a get an affidavit for any funds in my spouse's account.

No statement is needed, ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THIS?? If I were a VO and I get suspicious of a POF( eg new FD or TB) I will definitely send an ADR requesting updated POF with emphasis of the applicants account statement 6mnths around d FD/TB...This may eventually lead to a rejection or worse still, a ban.)

just get the certificates.. Yes, submit d certificates as well as either cic format bank reference letter, or a statement of account..This way, u are placing all d cards on d table...no wuruwuru things.

Use LOE to populate and explain ur funds.....please be guided that the LOE is meant to clarify and not confuse/confound its reader.

Better safe than sorry....we don't want a scapegoat/lab rat from among us.
@dchamp19.....pls package your POF properly to avoid issues.

I don't still get it.. Money is in Accts, not cards. We use cards to access accts. Ebho, come and explain more.
