In '86, a policy was introduced where each pupil was required to show evidence of tax paid by his/her parent or guardian. I experienced this in the old imo state then.

My school fees in the university from 1989 to 1995 was N115. Tution was N25 and accommodation was N90. Imagine that. Primary school is free in public schools in Edo state but private na die..
