Yes it currently has no place, but it once did (back in 1963). The military always favored Unitary System (coming from their federal make-up) and that resulted in the January 1966 coup.

Democratically, its like passing a camel through the eye of the needle.

The whole of Nigeria needs to agree to it. The call for restructuring must be done in a way that all Nigerians will see the benefit. For now, the call seems selfish and the larger part of the country will not agree to it.

Treating our 36 States thesame way as the U.S. States relate to U.S. Federal Government can never be difficult and impossible to achieve.
