Glo just want to milk poor people dry in this Nigeria with their grandfather internet they now tag unfair advantage. One will think he's getting a better bargain of 4 gig for 1000 naira when in the actual sense, it's a case of naira foolish, kobo wise. I used to be a big advocate of their data till I got wiser. I I literally have to wait for data to come on after switching it on and it could take hours. The 3g signal has got a mind of its own. Even the speed most time is grandfather's speed. (imagine a grandfather in a racetrack with 12-year Olds) I discovered the more expensive MTN data share and my internet experience has never been the same. I stream Videos, send mails, catch up on the news and get absolutely no downtime whatsoever. The sooner people know that glo's crappy internet service is a torture, the better it will be for them. |

Which Glo are you people talking about? The one that I have not seen network for days? I cant open a page to browse, check it on a mifi and it is reading 2G with no Internet service. To make matters worse, GLO has not deemed it fit to send messages to affected users on their crappy network. Is it the same GLO? What is the use of grabbing data you cant use? |

What's the point of an improved volume when your browsing speed is as slow as a snare. |
Re: Glo Introduces New Improved Data Plan by goldfish80(m): 7:35am On Nov 07, 2017 |
I have been using glo for the past 3 months and to be honest, I'm surprised when people complain about poor network on glo. I seamlessly stream YouTube videos, transfer data in excess of 1.2 gig almost on daily basis without hiccups whatsoever. Within the 3 months I have used glo, I have travelled across 5 states and even to my village, still I get good H+ reception. I suspect those complaining aren't really using glo. Probably, yabbing glo has become the new cool. |

I doubt if most of the posters here are in Nigeria, glo has bn blazing for me here in ibadan since 1959 despite the fact that I have regular subs on all the GSM networks. Glo is still the best..... All networks do have issues 1 Like |

Re: Glo Introduces New Improved Data Plan by soloqy: 10:27am On Nov 07, 2017 |
goldfish80: Not every one has time for nonsense. We are not kids. I have a Glo line and over two weeks network has been off and on sometimes 24-48hrs in a stretch. Can't browse, and you can never complete calls. The network has been on 2G all the while. I had to get my Airtel sim back to use. |
Re: Glo Introduces New Improved Data Plan by soloqy: 10:33am On Nov 07, 2017 |
iliyande: You are being very silly and irresponsible for this statement. Have you thought maybe there are locations where the network has been terrible for weeks now? Do you use 3G or 4g? Have you not seen some people here who said they are enjoying Glo but only on their 4g. That is how to make responsible statements in a forum and not making derogatory , blanket remarks about those who don't have same experience as you. 1 Like |
