Nadratan:

That's exactly what he just explained to you. Get a one-way ticket for him and he is good to go. You can use any airline of your choice depending on your budget. Since you are on a tight budget, I'd advise you make the move in January because ticket prices are on the high side now
thank you, can i carry on the process for him over here and how can he be issue ticket since i paid for him over here?

thanks

To the professionals in the house...

Is it possible to be admitted to WIT or UJ to study Medical Laboratory Science for someone using an asylum?

What does she needs to do ?
What are the merits & demerits at stake?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by larrywax: 10:17am On Nov 10, 2017
Once u get a ticket with a price within ur budget, just send him a copy of the flight ticket...That's all he needs since unsaid he has his papers before.

please how can i send it, is it through DHN or scanned copy?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by larrywax: 10:29am On Nov 10, 2017
U will be asked for your email address while about making payment...once the payment is made and ticket issued, just forward it to him. Then he will print it out here or go to the Airport with the soft copy.

My good people of Nairaland. Thanks so much for all your guidance in this forum.
I got my STUDY VISA APPROVED yesterday. It was brought to me in my place of work yesterday by UPS Worldship.
Two years was granted instead of four years that I applied for that appear on my admission letter. Though my passport can only accommodate two years but I was given multiple entries. I appreciate all your contributions towards the actualization of this VISA. Thanks

Good morning to all the wonderful people of this thread.
Please i need clarification on saqa, for schools that do not give transcript to student(ie you pay and it is sent by the school to the destination specified on your application) , what do you advice for such a person to do?
Should such a one send the certified copy of the Bsc and application, proof of payment and consent form alone? Then apply to the school for the school to send the transcript alone?
Is there any issue with the above arrangement?
If the school send the transcript, would saqa still need to email them during the period of verification?

Please help a sister in dear need of this information, thanks in anticipation and God bless

you can apply for the transcript to be sent to your address....then get a copy, certify it and send to SAQA. that way you have a copy and also its sent to SAQA.

Let the school send the transcript straight to saqa. Saqa wouldn't verify via email again. That's way faster.

Hi house, what's the average cost of living in Jburg SA for a period of one year. Rent, feeding and utility cost. A one bedroom apartment should do.

It depends on where you want to live. If you want to live in an estate , again depending on which part of the city. If for instance you live in the eastrand side you can expert to pay from 4000 Rands - 6000. If you live in the north you will probably pay R4500 - 8000. South you will pay from R3500 - 6000. If you want to live in places like sandton in the north you will pay from R8000 - to infinity cheesy. If you prefer the cbds like Joburg, Kempton park, Germiston etc you will probably pay from R2000 -4000 , I'm not sure though if it's still like this haven't lived in the cbds in years. With regards to electricity, it will depend on your consumption and you will buy prepaid.

If you want to live anywhere around houghton you will pay from R6000 to about 15000 , I don't know how much they charge exactly in houghton estate but you can check it online . Yes it's monthly , but the estate agent might require you as a Nigerian to pay the whole years rent . You might R400 to thousand Rands if you will living alone for electricity.

ok, thank you. Are you in jburg. I 'll check online but I was thinking you could give an idea of the cheapest and nicest area/suburbs closest to Houghton.

Yes I'm in Johannesburg. You can't find cheap places around houghton or sandton . You can check property24.co.za and search for places like midrand, fourways , sunninghill , rooderport these are some of the suburbs not far from houghton but have less expensive townhouses than houghton. By the way , why specifically houghton if I may ask ?
