Minerva is just like an online portal where you submit your credentials so as to be considered for admission by McGill University. this is the link to apply for McGill mastercard foundation scholarship: www.mcgill.ca/mastercardfdn-scholars

Steps for McGill is closely similar but not the same.

For McGill (Masters)

You contact the department you intend to apply to and seek nomination for MCF scholarship.

They will request for your credentials and forward it to department.



After review, department will contact you as whether you have been nominated for MCF or not.

If you have been nominated, MCF will confirm your eligibility and guide you to apply to McGill with fee waived.

Note: The nomination is done by a professor in the department you're applying to. Hence you don't have to contact them yourself.

I attached list of Program eligible for funding by MCF.

So drhammed my first point of contact for McGill is my department (chemical engineering in this case), then i wait for their response, I guess my request mail to be nominated should be sent to the graduate coordinator, any other questions I have would be directed to you. And please do you have the courses that UBC sponsors or let me simplify is chem eng sponsored, and all this questions are referring to the masters program thanks for your prompt reply.

At this point, you can't start UBC application again, because the eligibility closed last Friday. November 10, and submission of the full package is by Nov17 latest. Also UBC doesn't sponsor Chemical Engr at the graduate level.

Yes, you're on the right track for McGill, but you will have to be fast (Noting that December is approaching and they might go on Break till Jan)
