Friendship it only the spirit that can answer that question.

One thing be confident in answering your questions and defend whatever you have entered in your Ds 160. Have it at the back of your mind that all information given now and years to come will be a yard stick to your approval or denial.

IMO.... It's advisable to apply from county you live and work.

Best wishes

Thank you, i have that information thingy to deal with now, i did use an agent two years back who misrepresented, i hope to use this to sought it out and not expect the visa.

Ignore that buying of December space thing first, I know of someone who got space for December in Lagos just yesterday by himself, nobody's help used. Moreover, Abuja should be open still if one gets desperate for early dates.

Can we for now understand you better as per @the bolded? What is your exact purpose of visiting the US? Thread with caution and listen attentively to oncoming advices....

Hello, you don't buy appointment date, don't let anyone deceive you. Keep checking by refreshing the appointment page, you may be lucky to get appointment date in November or December. The VO is likely to ask if you are pregnant. It's better you declare you are pregnant but you will not be seeking medical treatment to give birth, but if your intention is to give birth and you lie to get the visa, I bet you that will be the last US visa you will ever get. The fact that your pregnancy is obvious does not mean you will not get the visa if you meet the visa requirements that include demonstration of a good tie to your home country. Your preparation is too late. You fully know yourself that you should be at work in January and your kids should be in school. Take your time and plan adequately for flexible time for vacation or holiday. Best of luck.

Hello, I have to be honest with you, i will also refuse you the visa. You are alien in Dubai, you have only work for 22 months. Do you have a temporary or permanent residence in Dubai? Did your family live with you in Dubai? I doubt if you have a strong tie in Dubai aside your work of 2000 dirham = 195752.80 Nigerian Naira that you may decide to abandon for a greener pasture in States. You need to build a strong tie either in Dubai or in Nigeria, coming home to Nigeria to apply does not mean you will get the visa if your tie in Nigeria is as weak as Dubai tie. Best of luck.

I just renew my passport and plan to book appointment with U.S. embassy with my login detail since I have apply before with my old passport and I discovered that there us no option to change passport number even when I click update option on my portal. My question is should I create a new appointment login with a different email or go ahead with the existing login with my old passport number ?

I'm so happy for the quick responses i got up there, thank u very much. Now, lemme answer ur questions so that u pple can really put me through. The wife of My husband's friend had her baby in d USA few months ago, so my husband wants me too to go av my baby in d USA. She got a family visa o; her husb and daughter too later joined her after she put to bed although all of them are back home now. The entire plan is dt when my baby is a citizen, dt wl give me an acess to relocate later. So now we av paid to gtb and we want to book for interview. Since our purpose as stated on d form is for visiting, i was thinking dt if my belle is shooting out already they may suspect us. D was d same thing my hubby's friend did bt they had their interview in dec dt is y we too ar desperate for december. I know we have pple of better experience here, PLS PUT US THROUGH ON WHEREVER WE MIGHT AV BEEN WRONG. Should we choose march wen children wld b on holiday and my belly is already obvious or we can av d interview in january and tell them we want to go by march. Although if we later get the visa, i may go around May or June when im close to delivery.
Thank u.

Uhn? Did I read right? Starting on a wrong footing, wrong plan, regret-laden route....

Just a little advice for you, go visit and learn from the Birthing Thread at https://www.nairaland.com/3436650/give-birth-usa-cost-procedures/381. I no just get power. You could also ask all your questions there, bear the bullets, they will help you, you are still within a "rerouteable" distance!

The easiest thing to do is to lie to get a VISA.

The consequences on the other side is the bitter, hard to swallow part.

Let me tell you how it will pan out.

1. You'd lie at the interview that you are "not pregnant" and have no intention of seeking medical attention in the US. Chances are you'd get the VISA.

2. You'd travel (maybe not with a protruding stomach) and you'd be allowed into the US.

3. Give birth against the terms of the VISA you were issued and return home....maybe even get discount and medic aid.

4. You'd have a US citizen baby....so sweet smiley I want one too. For real cheesy cheesy

The bitter hard to swallow part is that you'd most likely want to renew your visa in 2 years and you'd be called in for a visa interview that'd see you denied and.....wait for it.......maybe banned.

Now ask yourself, what's the fun in having a US citizen as a son/daughter and not being able to enter the US? Maybe takes away the whole point.

What I preach is this, if it's worth doing at all, it's worth doing well. Go through the normal process and get your VISA.

Madam, you really make me laugh. I can see a python dance approach. I'm quite sure you are aware that birth thread exist on Nairaland before hiding on this thread. Your husband friend will soon know the consequences of her action in future. The fact that your husband friend had the visa does not mean that you will also have the visa if you go through same route. All visa applicant are qualified on their own merit. Nothing is special in going for interview in December. You can go with your belle shooting out for your interview as long as you declare your intention to give birth. I will advice you to take your time and do the right thing, declare your intention to give birth in USA, search for Doctor and establish a correspondent with the Doctor. Prepare your budget and make sure you can afford it without seeking medicaid. I'm sure you will get the visa if you are honest in your application. Best of luck.

You did not understand me. Read carefully .
1. My passport has expired and i renew it
2. I login to my previous appointment site to update my new passport and schedule appointment but No option to update passport no.
3. My last interview was 2015 with the old passport number.

My question

Since my exiting login does not permit me to create a new login on appointment site because i cant use same email to create another login. Should i create another login with different email to enable me schedule my appointment with my new passport number.

Thank u.

First, your child being a citizen grants you no special status whatsoever. At best, your child can file for you to obtain residency, but only once the child is 21, so you have a long way to go. More than likely, chain migration would be ended long before then and that door will be permanently closed to you.

Second, your entire plan is fraudulent. Go to your visa interview, duly inform the VO that you wish to have your child in the US, it is not against the law. Obtain a visa the right way... it really isn't rocket science. Good luck with your friend... i hope she isn't shocked if she is denied a visa tomorrow.

It is legal to give birth in the US If you can afford it, you don't need to cut corners.

Check the birthing thread am so sure you will get enough to read and digest.

But i noticed your intentions with the family is to immigrate. VO's are trained to detect cases like this.....

Take heed.

I don't think there will be any problem, but if your circumstances have not changed, you may end up with the same results. If it has changed, then presenting again in Abuja could also be good. All na same-same.
