Every Homo Sapiens will be DEAD. There will be no homo sapiens walking the surface of the Earth, except Homo Novus.

We will before then establish a family re-union kind of relationship with other Humanoid species example, the Cosmic Human species living at the Kuiper Belt and Oort Cloud would have visited and we will visit their planets and we will share technologies and ideas to advance humanoid civilizations across the Cosmos.

These Homo Novus will have neural lace connectivity with robots, and the Human body will be advanced from bio-electric system to bio-electromechanical system with apertures for peripheral connectivity with OS powered 3D reality.

Our cities will no longer be built with cement and silica, but with a combination of alloys which ensures that homes are fire-proof, leak proof, rust-proof and totally interactive wall designs, LCD doors, IoT engineered electronic devices. our CCTV cameras will have remote virtual terminals with satellite connectivity to open your home doors and lock them from any location on Earth.

Witricity will replace electricity as we know it. So there will be no more cables flying around the house or street corners.

Robots and humans will interact with each other and some robot modules will develop their own languages and become a viral race of malignant specie and we will cage them on a location on Earth and monitor their geometric language development growth towards improving our own knowledge skills. In essence, we will design robots that will become our teachers and part of our future.

But if we continue to mess around with nuclear weapons, then the human form might be extinct just in time before the party begins. By then, I will be qualified to wear the body of an Extraterrestrial race of aliens. A Cosmic Human, your Gods.

Logically you can extrapolate the extend of advancement to come in the next millennium by examining the advancement that took place 1000 yrs ago. Within those years , Airplanes, cars, nuclear technology, space research came into existence. Also, there was a great human psychological and behavioural evolution witnessed with those years.

Scientifically, humans just use a little above 10% of their brain power or capacity,, the most genius of humans use like 15% of theirs......In the next 1000 years, due to the level of sophistication, robotics, advancement..any human still using 10-15% of their brain power will be regarded as dull and archaic.

In a thousand years from now, the human population would have grown so much that we'd not have space to live, unless we wipe ourselves out with nuclear weapons. Some will migrate to the poles where there won't be any more ice. Some will adapt to living in water, I don't know how. We'd probably have more trips to outer space and have human dwellers in Mars. Technology will penetrate even the most remote places and life will be easier.
But in Nigeria, our politicians will steal all the money and make the people beg food and drugs, there'll be civil war and large scale violence to cleanse the country. The international community will then intervene and we'll be back under colonial rule.

I just got thinking about what our world will look like in a 1000 years.

You can answer from any POV or perspective you want, but mine's gonna be from an archaelogical one.
This is because I believe that this current civilisation, epoch if you will, will not exceed the next 5000 years, and that's giving it a long long time. One short reason: technological advancement + advanced sociopaths = nuclear weapons capable of obliterating human existence as we know it.

So, I feel that in a millenium, archaelogists (if they're still called by that appelation then). will sift through the ruins of this epoch and find plastic bottles, used condoms, carcasses of electronic appliances, hectares upon heaps of car, train, plane and ship scrapyards, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Wutang CDs, polythene bags; in short all these biodegradable materials with half-lives of thousands of years.


So, what's your take on what the world as we know it would look like in a thousand years?

The world would've naturally ended long,long,long before then.

America would have reached her highest point of prosperity and become exhausted. There would be no such thing as a Super power - superiority among nations would be only marginal.

Africa would be competing with the West by then.

The world would have become more integrated and connected.

Monarchy would no longer exist in any part of the world. All traditional cultures would be nominally dead, or effectively and definitively dead.

The human race would be colonizing the galaxy and exploring Star systems.

Money might have lost its importance.

New forms of vehicles would be invented, powered by other sources of energy, different from fossil fuels.

Genetic engineering would be at its peak. Transhumanism would be the order of the day. Humans would subject their bodies to all forms of modification. Robots and the likes would be roaming the streets, and there would be nothing weird about it.

Homosexuality, bestiality, transexuality, incest and so on would no longer be seen as aberrations, because the spirit of conservatism would have died off by then, and the humans of that age would view the world through an entirely different prism of values.

The patriachial system would have collapsed as well, sexism would no longer exist, and there would no longer be any need for Feminism. Racism and tribalism would be dead too.

The Abrahamic religions would have become history, and with them the concept of God as we know it. There would be new "religions" though, ones sharing similarities with the "Enlightenment" religions of the East (China and India), and New Age ideas from the West.

And so on..........

These predictions would be valid only if the world doesn't experience a Nuclear Amargeddon before then (probably before the end of this century), as it's a very likely occurrence that will most-definitely happen at some point, as escalating tensions indicate.

(1) lots of robots, flying cars, space travel for all, easy teleportation

(2) World War 3 that will take us back to the pre historic age

In less than 500yrs from now many countries will be swept off and will be covered by waters, if not the whole earth,many parts will be volcanic erupted and human will fail to exist on planet earth,few humans will evolve to wings flying creatures and some will become sea creatures and many will die,the earth will be an entirely a different thing from what it's today.

I wish that any of you reading this today will be alive to see my predictions come through,but unfortunately none of you will see all these happen,but the sun and moon will not fall down before every single thing that I said shall come to pass.
