This is to help people with clarity on WES evaulation of ICAN ACA and ATS. I got my WES eca report today and here is the summary:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY
Completion of a college-level certificate (one year), bachelor's degree
(three years), and bachelor's degree (four years)

I evaluated my BSc, ATS and ACA credentials. The year for the ICAN ACA credential is 2010 which is old syllabus by the way.

I hope this helps.

Nice.
I guess the ATS is what got the college-level certificate, right?

Yet, we have learned here that some ACA credentials have not been positively evaluated. And this is even from 2010? Super confusing!

Congrats Alexandergreat & damidamsel. Nice!

@Damidamsel, could you confirm if you've got at least one work experience in the required NOC of one year or more?

I think it's pretty clear that one can combine NOCs towards express entry. What I'm not certain about is if one can combine different NOCs towards FSW.
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Bambam4you: 11:41am On Nov 23, 2017
Yes you are right. the ATS credential is what what the college level certificate while the ACA got 3 years equivalent and BSc got 4 years equivalent.

Can you guess at why the ACA was positively evaluated? We've had several cases here of negative evaluation. Perhaps you did something de different?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Bambam4you: 11:51am On Nov 23, 2017
Hmmmm... I can't say oo. But someone here mentioned that maybe exemptions could have affected the evaluations. I had exemption in only one paper and I wrote all three stages of the professional level (that was when it was PE 1,2 and 3).

Super elated. Just can't keep calm.
Application had some ish but God was true to His Word. Will come back with details for the benefit of others after calming down. Lol

One thing i can answer now though is....Yes one can combine different experiences at different NOCs except C to get the 3years experience....at least it worked for me.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed immensely to this thread. Couldn't have done it without the huge amount of info on here. E-hugzzzz
Congrats dear. Thank God it ended in praise. Lvo things.

Use an imaginary score - 8777 in LRWS. Aim for nothing less than this in your actual test.

Super-confusing indeed! For now, we can only speculate. I doubt the exemptions theory though.

Good day house, pls I have a question and I will be glad if anyone can put me through.
We are planning to apply for this Canadian express entry, I as the wife holds a bachelor degree in geography and planning but I have been working as a security officer for the past 7years, I'm 34years old. My husband Is a teacher but he has NCE, Bachelor of education and master of public administration but he's already 40years old. My question is, can I be the principal applicant considering age factor? But my fear is the fact that my working experience is different from my degree, though saw something like security when I checked NOC. Someone should pls put me through. Thanks

Yes you are right. ICAN is the body that conducts both ACA and ATS and ATS is for non-accountants and every beginner. Basically to write ATS, all you need is your first school leaving cert (WAEC).

I have heard it advised that you can do an affidavit to state that you are the same person with those names. I believe that may apply to the date of birth as well but someone with more insight will come along to respond to you soon i am sure.
