Honestly this issue of parents esp mothers not wanting their children to be scolded or flogged by school teachers has become something else,any parent who doesn't want a child to be flogged or scolded should do the needful by home-schooling the child..Even the Bible acknowledges the fact that of u spare the rod then u would spoil the child,another portion of the Bible also stated that stubbornness abound in the heart of a child which can only be scattered or melted by a cane/stick..


This is one of the negative influences of alien culture on us ,when we were growing up I could remember that if u did wrong any elderly person around and not necessarily a teacher would scold u because then a kid belonged to the community unlike wat is obtainable these days.
