It’s too generic, she will not code anything...more so, most sexually active people think that they sexually careful and they take that advise casually, plus generally, that wouldn’t be their first time of hearing it.....

but, tell those same people that their partner is HIV+, their subconsciousness will come alive and will take uttermost precaution including researching/reading up more above HIV, checking themselves for symptoms and even considering going for a test plus cutting off from that partner sexually.

I think the OP should tell her and be serious when doing that, and should also mention to her that his goal is not to get back together and that if she doubt what he is saying, she should around or point her to others that might be in the know.

If he can’t bring himselve to doing that, go through a friend or type up an anonymous letter to her or open new email address with a different name and email her.
