This is the same problem with GEJ; shifting the blame of boko haram instead of dealing with it.

Who cares who their grand patron is? Who cares who they supported in 2015? As long as President Buhari is CIC, it is his job to stop them so get to work and stop the diversions.

Nuff said
Are you minding them. Instead of tackling the issue at hand they are pointing fingers.
Buhari should tackle the issue and if GEJ is involved then take him to the hangman

Buhari is the incumbent president, being taking care of with citizens and noncitizens taxpayers money.

This is to show you that local herdsmen and farmers were in cordial relationship with each other under GEJ's administration. Even when Buhari's unleashes political attacks to make GEJ's administration ungovernable has he had vowed.

Why are they nolonger in cordial relationship with each other anymore in this Buhari's administration?

Under GEJ's administration everyone were happy with one another, even statistics were released how Nigerians were happiest people on earth under GEJ's administration.

Few of these zombies supporting this APC and Buhari's government are those didn't participate in voting process. If they had participated, they would have been filling the pains of going through the voting process.

LOL at the short memories of those those politicising this problem especially the one sided reporting media houses, who have been openly pro - PDP and anti Buhari.

This matter will not go away unless Nigerians are being correctly educated about the crisis in order to appreciate its various layers of ramification and justice being simultaneously meted out to all culprits on both sides.

Fulanis cannot just wake up and start killing for no reason at all and/or without provocation; the root cause of the problem (land for grazing vs land for farming) is being completely ignored while the symptoms i.e. the killings and it-s aftermath are being mischievously sensationalised on the pages of newspapers from a one sided perspective.

Fulani in every state? You must be kidding me.
Assuming their plan is genuine what happens when they exhaust their pastures they begin to kill again but this time they must have gained ground in all the states. Northerners should remain in the north

Where did I suggest them in every state?

They have a right like any Nigerian to live according to their way of life; central to the ongoing problem is the fact that their traditional grazing grounds are being taken over by expanding farmlands - whether we like it or not; until their grazing needs are also accommodated there will continue to be these clashes.

That is what the bill stipulates.
Yes the north has vast amount of lands and with proper irrigation the fulanis can be adequately taken care of no need invading other regions when the north is already twice or thrice the size of other regions.

It's idiotic to always bring in Jonathan's name or compares him to every failure of this evil govt.Assuming without conceding that fulani herdsmen terrorists were also killing people during Jonathan's govt,Buhari was voted in by some zombie Nigerians to make a CHANGE and stop the killings. So,if Jonathan was voted out because of his "weakness'',the "strong man" Buhari should also be voted out for also being weak in stopping the killings.

The root cause is t he inability to recognise property rights
Centuries ago, nobody bought land. They just take it over or fight to take it over
These days people who used to to send out goats and hens to feed in the community have started confining them in modern poultry
Why can we not confine cattle
By the way why is street trading/hawking (another traditional means of livelihood) banned in a lot of states and we are still having cattle roaming around

A Fulani socio-cultural group known as Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has revealed that it would mobilise 23 million voters for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general elections.

This was made known on Monday in Abuja by the national leadership of the association led by the chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo and secretary, Saleh Alhassan Kubah. BMC GOAT LIKE YOU,anybody in his right senses would have sacked all you BMC idiats, very senseless people

Leadership reports that Bodejo claimed that 23 million registered voters belonging to the association have decided to support Mr. President because of his Agricultural Transformation Agenda.

Bodejo further explained that both the ethnic Fulanis and pastoralists have been able to mobilise more than 23 million voters for Jonathan, adding that they have an efficient means of mobilising their kinsmen whom they directed to register in all the places they live and have done so. He said these are the votes they promise President Jonathan in the 2015 general election.

The chairman, who listed the prominent Fulani pastoralists serving in the Jonathan administration to include the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Adamu Mu’azu; the private secretary to the president, Alhaji Umar Tukur; political adviser to the president, Prof. Ahmed Alkali and the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Balla Mohammed, distance themselves from involvement in Boko Haram activities. He said they were elated as well as support the agreement reached between government and the sect.

Speaking on the effects of the ongoing Boko Haram insurgency and the continued conflicts between farmers and herdsmen in the country, Bodejo called on government and other relevant stakeholders to immediately wade in and end the violence in the northern region.

Speaking also, Engr. Kubah debunked reports of suspected Fulani herdsmen involving in sectarian crises, especially in Nasarawa and other northern states.

“The crises you spoke about are multi-faceted and stems from the struggle for power in the states. Former IGP, Mohammed Abubakar instituted a high-powered committee comprising of DIGs to unravel the root causes of the crises and they had since submitted their report. The Fulani pastoralists were exonorated but unfortunately were caught up in the political crises,” he said.

Engr. Kubah further explained that the Egon people, unleashed the Ombatse Cult against the Fulanis and others, but following JTF’s intervention, the crises was quickly stemmed. He said what they have left in Nasarawa state is cattle rustlers and miscreants parading themselves as Fulani pastoralists.

He condemned the fact that they (Fulanis) were being victimised and targeted for unnecessary profiling and criminality which he claimed security reports have exempted them from.

It would be recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday, September 18, decided on a sole candidate for 2015 presidential elections, and it is Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also a group known as the New Dawn Nigeria (NDN) promised the highest number of votes to President Goodluck Jonathan from the South-West in the 2015 presidential electionselections

Dear Ortom,

Can you prevent flood from eroding a community by fencing it off? No. Because the flood might get fierce and break down the fence. So You create viable channel or alternative for the flood to pass without affecting your community.
That is the analogy.
The governor ought to be smart enough to provide sustainable alternative for the herdsmen in term of ranching.

Bring in investors that will build standard ranches that guarantees enough water, food, security and treatment for the the cows.

Then woo the Influential associations of the cattle rearers to see reasons why the built ranches will guarantee much more productivity and security for their lives and their cows.

Continue to work with the various associations of both farmers and herders by having meeting with them at least every month.

Secure the state boundaries by conducting aerial surveillance by adequately equipping the state police with necessary apparatus.

Form the state vigilante group that works closely with the police. This vigilante group should be well trained home and abroad

Continue to lobby the federal government to strengthen the border security across northern Nigeria.
