Guys, please what do you do when the HR is the one to send your reference? This is because I need the reference aligned to the duties and responsibilities as specified in the ANZCO code for external auditors.

Is it possible to submit two references from one firm? One from the HR and another from a manager there? I wanted to use the manager but he said he can't use the firm's letterhead but will put his complimentary card as part of the reference, while that for HR will have the letterhead on it, but may not fully be aligned to what CPA wants to see. I had already drafted the reference but the HR is saying they already have a template they can't deviate from.

Please advise.

On another note, got my 20 points from PTE cool . LSWR: 90 90 90 86. Thanks to you guys for the various links posted here. That's all I used.

Hi Ziba, Congratulations
please can you send me some of the materials you used.
thanks

Please i want to ask if there would be a proof of fund before visa is granted, if yes how much will it be for a family of four. Is there any Pharmacist in the house who has gone through the process?

It depends on the visa subclass you are applying for. No pof for 189. 190 and 489 may require pof but it depends on the state sponsoring you.

Thank you very much much, it's 189

Hello Gurus,

On the average how much will it cost to process an Australian PR for a family of 5? Parents and 3 kids ( between 4 & 7yrs). My assessment will be with EA.

Thanks for your anticipated feedback.

You can get the cost on Australian home affairs' price estimator
https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visa/Visa-1

You may select 189, 190 or 489 visa

The cost excludes medicals and pcc

Yes you can.

You need the data page of your passport with certified true copies of your degree certificate, transcript and reference letters from previous and present employers if it applies.
Get the application checklist on this page https://www.acs.org.au/msa/information-for-applicants.html

I went through this thread and I didn't see anyone with a 70 point invited. So I'm confused?
Also with the tiny number of people invited on The 3rd, I'd be surprised any 70 will be invited.

Does it mean that someone with a score of 60 points has no hope? cry shocked

You can go for 189, 190 and 489 visas.
That said, you don't have to use your experience to get a positive assessment from Engineers Australia. You can use your IT, final project, MSc project to prepare your CDR. Download the MSA booklet from Engineers Australia website for guide. Read the first few pages of this thread to understand the process better. You have a better chance.

Its just because the competition this year is very high. It also depends on your occupation. Some occupation will still be called with 60points sooner or later. You can also look at possibility of 190 and 489.

You took my post out of context.
That was in response to the last invitation round which was just 300 people invited.
That's an "abnormal" round and it's no surprise only people with high points got invited.
Things should return to normal soon and some occupations will get invited with 60 points.

As a doctor, you will have to apply for occupations like "health center manager" and other related occupations.
With that your degree in medicine should get you a positive assessment and you don't need to write any exam. When you get to Australia, u can then work on getting the necessary accreditation to practice as a medical doctor.
Search the thread for words like "doctor" and you will see more info on that.
