My new and best way to ask for destination before going to pick up....
Me: ma i got ur request on uber/taxify, i want to confirm if the pick up address is exactly correct
Rider: yes it as, but its number 7a not 9a....
Me: ok, you are going to magodo right?
Rider: nope lekki phase 1
Me; ok

(then i make my decision)
Meanwhile i dont usually ask until like 9pm

sonata, engine too large for uber business, engine too expensive if replacement required, a/c very unpredictable.

Elantra, stick to the 2.0liter engines, the 1.6 liter engines are expensive and very delicate, they do not lolorate any form of abuse.

Also avoid the electronic assisted steering.

Finally CIVIC. I hate CIVIC. Personal issues.
Good day sir,i am a silent fan and I hope to meet you soon sir..I have been considering buying a hyundai sonata 2007 - 2009 model...I have read many online reviews particularly on edmunds.com with many verified users giving hyundai sonata a 4.6 rating averagely. The greater percentage talked very favourably of the limited edition and very few spoke about engine,AC issues or fuel economy issues..infact many rated the 2007 hyundai sonata 3.3L V6 far ahead of the Accord and the camry of the same year and same make...infact maintenance cost was rated lower than the Accord and camry... but here you are saying the opposite here...Infact I have kept wondering why the sonata isn't so popular on Nigerian roads due to its excellent rating...another option I am considering to the sonata is the Benz c230 kompressor sports sir but I am quite keen on the Hyundai Sonata 2008 sports or Limited trim but I4...kindly respond sir..Thank you.

closing time, to go home. And again you wouldn't want to go to apapa, badagry and deep ikorodu even in the day

Am I totally unrealistic to expect a simple rule of english grammar to be followed when people post on this forum? I appreciate contributors like @ gazuzz; carshoppers; chillex8 and many more who have always complied. I do realise that our educational levels are different. I do have issues with people who try to dumb down the language in the name of simplicity. I apologise if anyone is offended. I am not an elitist here as some would say. I am guy from a typical Nigerian village. I am trying to encourage my children to write and speak properly. It would help their careers to a great extent, l believe. And they do come to this forum.

@protocol

Hide my face? What for? I will not sir. Maybe you should hide yours. If you felt like my contribution was irrelevant to you, you had the choice to ignore my post and move on. Your kind of post is what makes a public forum like this one an avenue for an ignoramus like you believe you have something to say because of your economic circumstance. My post was civil and did not warrant your comment.
Nigerians are the most educated in the USA with 23% with a higher degree. That's way higher than the American population. If you want to continue in your ignorance and encourage it, that is your choice and you are free to exercise it. Things are tough in Nigeria, that we all know. It doesn't not equate ignorance or stupidity. Thank you.
