How?
Is the person a nairalander ?

Can you explain and share your transactions in details?

I'll report to a mod if you can provide the answers to those questions above
#endSCAM
He's not a Nairalander. He impersonated my Aunt's colleague in the office where she worked before - NIMC. He said he has several slots that she should inform her nephews/nieces who are Bsc holders to call him. Three of us did. But because we do not have National ID which he claimed was a necessity, he directed us to Dr. Mrs Dorcas who he said can produce it instantly with 1,000 NGN MTN voucher. Me & my brother sent it together our details. Upon loading the cards, they sent those account details that we should send 22,500NGN each for the placement forms. Our eyes got cleared then. I contacted one of my cousins who told me she paid over 40,000 already & they were demanding another 12,000 from her because she has no NYSC certificate

Don't mind them. What are the many things. That's how they all talk. Start business they will say, oya bring money they will keep quiet, then some will say with ordinary 20k you can do something. I.e frying akara and plantain chips on the road or boli! Imagine after spending so much money to send me to school then my parents will watch us do menial jobs, it will even kill them faster than we think. How far can d menial jobs carry. Can it even marry a wife or sustain kids. Growing up people who do menial jobs come from very very poor homes. They are able to blend very well with the harsh reality of life because they have been fending for themselves most of their lives with little or no impact from family. By a stroke of luck such people are able to excel because they have been built to weather the storm. But when you tell a graduate who his parents spoon fed to university level hoping to finish and work and start taking care of things to go and be frying akara. Its not fair on such graduate. Not everyone is even meant to be an entrepreneur so I hate it when people say be on your own. If everyone is on their own who will work in office? Personally I have never been the business kind of person. If I do business, except God just favours me that is when I will excel. You see why we don't have exemplary humans in this part of the world. People do things because everyone is doing it not because its our talent.

Is Nigeria better than other war zones right now? What is the death toll of people dying from Fulani herdsmen, starvation, diseases, due to lack of adequate medical attention, from accidents due to bad roads, from hypertension due to frustration, from suicide due to depression etc? Nigeria is bad, real bad! I really pity our young graduates and their hopeless situation. I was once in such situation, after graduating from the University. I lived and searched for jobs in Lagos, Abuja etc but all I could get was slavery in disguise. To God be the glory, fortune smiled on me and I was able to raise money and go into business, and I now earn reasonably from diverse sources. I may have enough for myself and equally be of help to family, friends and relatives but I know I could have been like most other graduates today, unemployed or underemployed. Nigeria is a complete sh!thole, the percentage of poor people in Nigeria is overwhelming, there is too much suffering in this country. @Op, now you are still in school, learn graphics, web designing and study English language very well, and if your course of study will allow you, register with Fiverr, Freelancer, Up work or any other freelancing site online, and if you are good, you could be making as much as 150k every month. See your University education as a way to build yourself and not a guarantee to employment.

Like I said if it matters to you so much,
Do something about Nigerian.
Sincerely, it will all collapsed eventually if this keeps on going.
Nigerians are still comfortable, all you mentioned have been happening as is no big deal.

If it matters to you fix it.

While I would agree with you that everybody cannot be rich, but the ratio of the rich/employed to the poor/unemployed should be considered.

Don't be sentimental.

This situation did not happened over night, we and our Fathers and forefathers are to blame for not acting, and right now instead of acting we sit in our misery and complain will the on going demolishtion of our country continues.

Thank God for your life and to each his own,of course there are some people who are just too lazy to work or who are jobless cos they are not as smart, competent,or intelligent as you who have a good job and in most situations in nigeria as connected but never forget that for every 3 people who fall under this category there are 10 who are hardworking, competent, focussed, and smart and with nothing to show for it maybe even more qualified than you who you think you are in a world of your own
.Prideornopride laziness or diligence only a blind or mgopic person wont see that the hustle and the suffering is real in Nigeria, average Nigerian especially the youths find it hard to dream nowadays cos all you think bout is survival!where is the next bread going to come from!gone are the days of dreaming bout working in chevron,,CBN,Nigerian Breweries, telcos, nowadays to get a primary scchool teaching job,or as an attendant at a store ot a clerk in onre in one office isnt as straightforward..

Unemployment is a b*t*h, and it's all the fg & state government's fault..................... angry angry angry
The main primary aim of going to university is to graduate, earn a living and become independent in which ever skill one desires.
When the fed gov loots and wrecks economy of Nig, the basic infrastructures needed to run the economy drys up, thats why companies are closing down and laying off staff. .............. shocked
Going into entrepreneurship is not all rosey either because of lack of infrastructure, power, import duties, levies etc.
When things & infrastructure are in place more investors & companies will spring up hence more employment.
But when those herds of cattle sitting in Abuja don't care
about the country how will things change for better............
& people should stop saying all those going and start something/business sh*t.
Nigeria's economy is in shambles now, businesses are on downturn with little or no profit especially smes.
Its better to just cancel the whole university bs & stop wasting time and money on trifling Nigerian university fraudsters & lecturers......... angry

I'm gainfully employed...earn good money but I save little or nothing at the end of the day because of high level of dependency on me by the unemployed relatives and friends.
I can relate with this bro. It's pretty much my story today. There's joy in being able to assist family and loved ones, but it's a tough call all the same.

It'll all work out in the end and so help us God.

honestly the rate of unemployment has drastically increased...many embraced entreprenuer but no capital to start up, late last year i know of a couple with 2 kids that lost their job which has caused serious damage to the family, the few privilege to work has little or nothing to show for it..God pls we need your mercies over our nation

There's an ongoing replacement with NIMC. They got to me through my handicapped Aunty. They claim they work there, probably one of their directors hence allocated some slots. For each credential you lack, they'll redirect you to someone else who could help you waive it. In my own case, I lacked National ID. In summary, you're not paying for the job since the boss is your aunt's friend, you're literally paying for the requirements you're lacking
